A rare disappointment
Unusually for Rapha products, I was disappointed with the quality of this jersey, notably that the colour ran out of the black collar into to white body through sweat alone. This has left unsightly stains around the back of the jersey which don’t was out. I have received a voucher for the full value of the jersey, however, because of this. I also find the cuffs at the bottoms of the sleeves are extremely tight. Understanding that cyclists aren’t usually the beefiest of people, I get why they’re narrow, but these restrict blood flow and are uncomfortable.

Size up and color bleeding/staining
Fit is noticeably tighter than other Pro Team/Aero jerseys, had to size up. As well, I had to return the jersey, due to the black collar bleeding and staining the white of the jersey. Pretty disappointing and from the other reviews, a clear issue.

The collar appears lower than previous aero jerseys - does the previous pro team base layer fit underneath without the collar sticking out? I do note that there is a new woman's pro team base layer and anticipate a new mens one and wonder if fit differs.
When developing the Aero jersey, we ensured this worked with the old base layer.
If the base layer neck is sticking out, this would be very minimal and easy to re-adjust when putting the garments on.
The new base layer is a slightly different fit as now not specifically a pro team base layer, but holistically works with all jerseys we have in out ranges, however it is a still close to fit base layer and will work nicely with the new aero jersey.
