Warm, comfy, versatile
Probably my most used Rapha item, because I wear it on and off the bike year-round in Canada. I wear these on the coldest of days due to the length and thickness (have changed to wear Merino Mesh base layers for the more mild winter / shoulder season days). Still a key closet item, and I own it in three colours..

Good value
Good value warm base layer. They are light and comfortable. I bought two and have been using them a lot. They seem to wash well (delicate cycle and appropriate detergent). They are quite long so may not be suitable for people with short torsos.

must have if you are usually cold
In one of the previous reviews, lady said she is wearing this on and off bike, and I have taken that approach as well. It is pricey but I think within 2 months of buying it my ROI is alreay paid off how often I reach out to this item. Easy to wash as well and so comfy. As with all merino products, if you sweat a lot it may not be right for you. I don't sweat too much on my commute/touring/ urban cycling so it's perfect for keeping me warm as first base layer.

Layer of warmth for cooler days
A soft, comfortable and cosy under layer. Just right for Autumn/Spring days, when a cycling jersey alone isn't enough. Adds a layer of warmth right next to the skin but does not get damp after exertion. Thought the sleeveless option might under-perform, but it really does help and there is no added friction under the arm. Very satisfied.

Keeps you warm in the cold and cool in the warm
I've tried the long sleeves, short sleeves and the deep winter of the Merino base layer and I thought they were fantastic! I got this sleeveless for my ride in Kuala Lumpur in 35 degree heat (where many wondered why would you wear base layer). I'm glad that I did, it kept my jersey dry and my body temperature down.

Great breathable baselayer
The shirt is a very versatile baselayer. In cold weather it helps to keep warm, but in warm weather it also helps to wick away sweat. The material is quite fragile due to the fine mesh so you have to be careful with it. It falls a bit small. I took my usual size and it's tight but perfect for a baselayer.

Just one of my favourite Rapha pieces
I'm addicted to these ! I wear them ALL the time ... summer, winter, inbetween... work, volunteering, cycling ... ALWAYS ! The Merino wool is perfect, soft and warm when I need it, soft and cooling when I need it ! And when its REALLY cold - I have been known to wear two at once !

Excellent shirt
Glad I returned the first delivery (too large) and now got an S (I am 174 cm tall). I used the shirt for hiking - we mostly had between 25 and 30 degrees - and it worked perfectly. Super moisture-wicking, never too warm and at the same time warm enough when it got windy.
