30 January 2021When we returned to the men's professional peloton back in 2019, we knew we didn’t want to partner with any old pro team. The professional sport can be stifling at times but with the packed roster of charismatic riders on board at EF Education-Nippo, we knew we could shake the sport up.
Two years on, we’ve taken to the podium at some of the world’s most prestigious races, from de Ronde to la Vuelta; we’ve explored a raft of new places with our alternative calendar series; and in so doing we’ve taken the sport of cycling to a new fans in all corners of the planet.
In 2021, we’re looking forward to more of the same, with some fresh faces to add to our cast of familiar ones. As usual, Lachlan Morton will be living a double life as a WorldTour pro turned endurance racer. And this year, he’ll be taking more of his teammates along with him.

An unexpected season opener sees Lachlan Morton head to Kenya for a 600km off-road race without a single stretch of tarmac. Organised by local Maasai tribespeople, MGR helps to fund local cycling initiatives.

A little-known yet notorious race on the French calendar, Tro Bro Leon takes the best road racers in the world on a whistle stop tour of Brittany’s back roads. Pure power is key but bike handling and strategy play crucial parts too. Oh, and the victor wins a pig.

Taking a break from the usual WorldTour calendar, Lachlan Morton rides the length of mainland UK. Setting off from Cornwall, he was joined by dotwatchers on his way north to John o’ Groats.
