Using a tape measure, take the total measurement around the fullest part of your chest, holding the tape horizontally.
2 WAIST
Run the tape around the narrowest part of your waist holding the tape horizontally.
3 HIPS
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest point of the hip, keeping the tape measure horizontal.

Great update
I now have both the original Classic Jersey and this new updated version. Though based on only one ride, I would rate this a solid improvement over the original. Fabric is lighter, fit is slimmer, arms are a bit longer; all welcome improvements. The weight of the original limited its utility for me. I can see getting more use out of this garment.
With respect to some of the other reviews, I find this more true to size than the original, which seems a bit baggy. Yes, it's a bit shorter in the front, but the advantage is that there is less fabric bunching up when riding. It's not nearly as short in the front as the pro team jersey.

Brilliant if you can figure out sizing
Love this jersey, I found the sizing chart was off though. I ordered a small and a medium and kept the small. I am 5'11" with a 37" chest and 31" waist. that would make me a medium according to the chart, the medium was far too relaxed for the jerseys great features to 'work'.
The front is a great length and does not bunch up when riding. The pockets are high and tight and do not sag when loaded or bounce about. The sleeve length is now perfect and is great with arm screens/warmers. The new fabric breathes quite well and washes brilliantly just like the old. All in all I think this is a perfect jersey, but I would recommend buying two if you are unsure of sizing.

Beautiful, well constructed wool jersey
I really like the performance, styling, and construction of this jersey. My only wish is that it was longer in the front. I'm 6'4", and a medium build. I bought a large jersey. If it were not for the fact that I always wear bibs, I would have returned it. The front could easily be another inch longer for someone my height. Maybe Rapha could make a tall version? That being said, I can't recommend it enough for the reasons I mentioned above. The jersey is beautiful, classically understated, yet spot on in styling. I love how it keeps you cool in all types of temperatures when riding in Seattle. I am surprised to find out that it is cool enough for 75-80 degree days.

Perfect for fall in N. California
This jersey is quite comfortable and breathes well. It is great on morning rides here in northern California, especially when the temperature is in the low 50s at the start but in the 70s by the end of the ride. I bought this as part of the classics bundle, and it works great with the merino arm warmers at the start of the ride. Take the arm warmers off about an hour in, and still not too warm at the end of the ride. I am 5'11" and 210 lbs with a 43" chest, and the XL fits well, consistent with Rapha's size chart. The only niggle is that it would be a bit more flattering off the bike if it were about an inch longer in front.

Solid choice for cool to warm temps
Good: Soft material, good fit. The classic fit has a little extra room to it, but doesn't come close to being baggy. The fabric is anti-stink and wears well after washing and hang drying. I'm an athletic fit - 5' 9" and 173 lbs with broad shoulders - and the medium fits me well without being too tight of a race cut.
Less than great: The jersey relies on a barrel pull adjuster around the waist, like you would find in the pockets of a winter coat. I can't get these to fit comfortably without having the jersey bunch up around the waist. I would prefer a traditional silicon gripper if it could be integrated well.

Not quite, but close
It actually pains me to write this review, because I’m so happy with all of my other Rapha products. However, this jersey doesn’t quite hit the mark. The main problem is the jersey fabric. It doesn’t breath very well, and in a warm climate like Australia, when you sweat, the jersey changes colour quite a lot.
Further, the fit (I think because of the fabric?) doesn’t fit the same as your other jerseys. It’s not quite as fitted, and the pull tabs on the side of the jersey are cumbersome and stick out. Overall, this jersey doesn’t quite hit the mark, which is a shame because it looks great. Might have to keep it as a winter jersey with a gilet over the top.

Simple the best
After successfully trying the core and the brevet jerseys, I was thrilled to get this jersey as well. The fabric is absolutely great, feels soft and comfortable and you just feel the quality wearing this jersey. The fit is perfect for it's purpose, the long rides where comfort is more important than speed. It's comfortable, not the aero jersey tight fit, but a little bit looser than the core jersey. Rear pockets are high enough so you can carry extra food, a big phone, your wallet, arm warmers and a gilet or wind blocker.
For me it's simply the best jersey I've ever had.

Not love at first sight but....
I wasn't sure about this jersey at first. I'm 5' 9" with a 38" chest and find long sleeve Rapha merino jerseys in medium a very close fit, particularly around the shoulders and collar. I size up to a large for Pro Team and so decided on a large for this Classic II. It has a flattering cut and fit viewed from the front but, as some other reviewers have commented, the rear pockets sag too much for my liking when empty. After much deliberation (OK, 24 hours) I decided to keep it, as when the pockets are filled up and I'm on the bike, this sagging isn't an issue. I've worn it several times now when the temperature has been mid-teens (Celsius) and, with a sleeveless base underneath I haven't over-heated when climbing. Looks great in purple too!

All Rapha jerseys have a good sun protection rating at least 15 UPF depending on the thickness of the fabric.

The fit chart shows L size is 103 CM / 87 CM for Chest / Waist. Does this mean it is recommended for up to 103 / 87 cm , or is it recommended for people greater than 103 / 87 cm?
