Great for hot weather
I live in Arizona, USA. It gets really hot. So I got the fly weight jersey. I am super happy with it. I love the fit, it is a looser fit, but since this is for group rides that is fine. It breathes really well and as long as you are moving it always feels like there is air flowing. With or without a base layer works fine. I have washed it a few times and looks brand new. It drys super fast. If you ride when it is hot, you will be happy and look good

Great quality design and service
Great quality design and service. I now wear Rapha in honour of my Son, who wore nothing but Rapha from his very first purchase, up until he sadly passed away in 2015.

Lightweight and stylish
Being happy with classic jerseys, I wanted the flyweight version for really hot days. The first thing I noticed is the cut and the fit... it feels great. The fabric is not super stretchy like some, so you have to get the right size. It's thin but not transparent, which is a plus. The bottom of the back is an even lighter mesh to let more of the heat out. It has the usual fine toothed zip, which I worry about but has never been a problem.
I've only had the weather to ride in it once so far, but I have no doubt it will serve me well for Summers to come.

Ok but don't get a light color
Ordered the green version. Loved it so much I ordered the white version. Didn't work out because the material is so thin on the white that you literally see my nipples. Wearing an undershirt with this would defeat the purpose. Stick to the colored shirts.

Breathes well
After multiple returns to try to get the right product/size, I finally landed on this classic flyweight jersey in order to help me cope with the hot and humid weather in Bentonville, AR. I've worn the jersey twice so far and it has been proven very lightweight and breathable as I had hoped. Also, it has good pockets, including an unexpected bonus zippered pocket. My only negative comment for this jersey is that I notice the large garment care tag inside the left waistline when I am riding. I'm not sure if I should cut this out or if I would then feel the stub of it more than I do the full label.

Great product, but ...
This was my first Rapha product, and as they said it's great. Perfectly made, super-fitted, from great materials, super comfortable during long ride. Though there is a problem with bottom ZIP holder, it's slightly sharp and pulled/pulling my bibs. Right now there are some scratches, but think that after couple next rides there will be a whole which is not great and super awesome ...

Nice lightweight jersey, nice casual fit
This is my second Flyweight jersey, the first one has a slightly different collar, but overall they are identical in construction and style. Highly recommended for hot weather. These are super, super light garments. They are perfect for when the tightness of Pro Team isn't what you want for a casual ride.

Lightest most breathable jersey Rapha makes
Wonderful piece of kit. I’d say this is Rapha’s most lightweight breathable jersey. More so than the pro team version because the fabric in the back of the pro team is denser. For me this is the best jersey Rapha offer together with the pro team training jersey in terms of price and absolute quality. The classic lightweight would be deserving of the zippers that the pro team jerseys come equipped with. Now that would be something. The fit is exceptional. I’m 176 cm, with a 95- 100 cm chest and this jersey fits like it’s custom made basically. On a hot summer day, this is the jersey you need. Trust me.

Survives Florida Heat
This jersey is my go to for the Florida heat. Few places get more hot and humid than Florida and this jersey keeps me cool for multi-hour rides. I wish they offered it in more colors. Additionally it would be fantastic if Rapha offered this in a long sleeve version for added sun protection. As with fly fishing long sleeves just make more sense than needing to remember and take the extra step to put on the sun sleeves. Either way until they make a long sleeve version I will keep buying these as they release new colors.

Excellent for hot weather
Went with grey, which is pretty light in color, and have been very happy wearing in 100 degree Texas summer. For a classic jersey, feels cut a bit more like pro team, which I like. Still very comfortable.

Good but flawed.
Worked well in the hot, humid weather we have. The material breathes very well and the jersey is incredibly light. Unfortunately, the zip is of such low quality that it jammed at the bottom on just the second time I used the jersey. I expected more from Rapha and a jersey of this price. I can still use the jersey, but I'm concerned that the zip will just fail altogether. I wouldn't recommend this jersey until better components are used.

Great hot weather jersey. Beware of tan lines....
This is my second Rapha jersey, but first of this model. I bought this one looking for the best hot and humid conditions, like US Gulf Coast hot and humid. After the first ride I can say it's about as good a jersey as you can get for these conditions. I will definitely get another now that I know it works so well. The only downside is that the fabric is perforated with vent holes. After a 3 hr ride in direct sun I went for a swim in the pool. I had worn my chest strap heart rate monitor that day and my teenage daughters thought it was funny that I had a bikini top tan line across my back....I'd advise wearing sunscreen with this jersey, although I'm not sure how to get it across my upper back without help. To be fair, I saw that Rapha recommends sun screen when wearing this jersey but being, well, a male, I had to determine this for myself. Yep, they are right.

Great cut and fabric
I've had a flyweight jersey for a couple of years, and decided to add another. The fabric has been updated and is lighter and more breathable. I find the jersey best in temps from low 20s to 30s, but is fine down to low teens with a baselayer. Really nice quality of finish, close fit, and good overall cut for general fast riding. Nitpicks: a touch more drop from front to back would be great (shorter zip without raising the pockets), and the sleeves are a tiny touch tight around the opening given the rest of the fit.

Yup
im 6ft 1 in, 40 in chest, 170 lbs. Medium is a perfect fit at the shoulders and chest. The torso is a little loose and bunches slightly (33in waist), but not at any extent to which it impacts the awesomeness that is this jersey. Ive worn this on a 95F day and although it was hot as hell out, I never once felt uncomfortable thanks to the wicking ability and uber lightness. Pockets seem sturdy, no concerns there. I was in a garment bag just to keep her safe and she dries in a snap. Must have for any of those hot and humid riders out there that still want to maintain some class on 2 wheels.

Best jersey in Rapha's lineup
I own both the classic and the flyweight and overwhelmingly prefer the flyweight jersey on rides greater than 10 degrees C. If you are a rider that produces a lot of heat, this is the jersey to get. While I love the merino blend, it is a bit warmer than the flyweight, so I find that I wear the flyweight jersey from spring through to late fall using base layers and my gilet to augment thermals.
These size a bit small when compared to the classic jerseys, so go up one size.

Classic Flyweight Jersey
I bought this for my husband. Armband on the biceps is very very tight, there is virtually no stretch in the fabric. Rapha products are made now in several different countries, quality control is poor these days.

Can't wait for summer!
Fantastic light jersey & high quality fabric with beautiful colours. Maybe be aware, that it runs quite slim (needed XL instead of L, which I have for the Classic series). Felt very breathable and comfortable in a first test ride - and I'm really looking forward to long sunny summer rides...

Just what I was looking for
I've worn this jersey in temperatures as high as 95 F. The fabric is lightweight and very breathable. My light blue version definitely allows UV rays to penetrate leaving a goofy bib tan, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for a cool jersey.

Body Air Conditioning
The best hot weather jersey! During hard efforts, climbing or Into the wind the perspiration is effectively wicked away. Downhill or with a tailwind the fabric allows the breeze through. It’s a wonderful cooling sensatiom on HHH days. The black white color is distinctive, not flashy.

The go to summer jersey.
Thin fabric that breathes like no other but is comfortable unlike some mesh jerseys. Fit is consistent with Classic series, not too tight, not too loose, goldilocks

Light in weight, a Heavyweight in Function
I waited quite a while to purchase my latest Flyweight jersey. I have two more, dating back several years (Flyweight jerseys at that time were in a separate category all their own).
I have a large number of jerseys I've collected over my long history of cycling. The Flyweights the most versatile, because they can be worn alone or with a base layer, wind shell or gilet to provide comfortable riding in a wide range of temperatures. (I live in Los Angeles, which means temperatures at sea level almost never drop below 45 degrees, and that is only between the time the sun has set and risen.)
I love to pedal uphill. So I most enjoy wearing Flyweights when I'm climbing in the nearby Santa Monica Mountains. I've been lucky enough to ride during the summer in the Alps and Rocky Mountains, where my Flyweights have been part of my go-to kit.
The reason I waited quite a while for my new Flyweight jersey is because either of the colors I wanted, white or off white, haven't been available in the Classic line for a long time, and my older Flyweights sport darker colors. So when "one available" Classic Flyweight showed up online, I grabbed it.
Now that I've had the jersey for about a month and a half, I can report that it lives up to Rapha's usual reputation for producing high quality kit. This jersey is indeed very lightweight and well constructed.
Zippers work. All seams are intact.
Pockets are good-sized - I don't overstuff them, so I can't say what might cause a tear in a seam.
I wasn't sure this jersey would come with a separate zippered pocket. It does, and it's more easily accessible than on prior my Flyweights, opening from the side of a bar pocket rather than from inside a back pocket. Yes, it's easier for a credit card to fall out of a side pocket that isn't zipped shut. For me, though, the ease of use for safely storing a card or cash, etc., is a plus.
There's a loop to hang-dry after washing. And there's a bicycling homily, this one having to do both with the reason this jersey and food. ;-)
My verdict on my Classic Flyweight Jersey? Chapeau, Rapha!

Overall Excellent Summer Jersey...
Simple, contemporary, nicely designed lightweight summer jersey. I've been using this in temps averaging 27C-33C. Fabric breaths very well with summer base layer. Pockets are good size with zip security pocket a must have on my jerseys. I like the subdued Rapha logos. A few areas could use improvements; namely, the zipper is small and difficult to adjust on the bike and the sleeve bands are tight if you have muscular arms. FYI...I wear size L in all "Pro Team" jerseys and size M in this jersey fit perfectly. Overall excellent for summer rides.

A disappointing surprise
Bought 2 of them but what a disappointing surprise!!
Removing the embroidered Rapha logo replacing it with the printed (very very cheap) logo will have resulted in a very small money/cost saving but a huge drop in brand image and quality.
But why?
What a pity.
Anyway, the jearsey is good as usual.

Ok but just ok
My last rapha jerseys were the pro team flyweight from a few years ago. There was a good sale on this item so picked it up thinking it would be similar. Not quite, the material is a bit rougher and the fit is just not as flattering. It fits snug but isn’t cut as nice as the pro team but doesn’t really feel looser. Just like a cheaper fit and material. If it wasn’t going on same I’d return it.

Perfection...
Disclaimer: I do NOT work for Rapha, but it's going to sound like I do!!
After reading the description of this jersey, I had high hopes, but when it arrived, these hopes were FAR exceeded...
It was so light, I felt it'd float away if I didn't hold it down, and was full of beautiful little touches, such as a diaphanous 'tail', and three spacy, deep pockets.
I sense its been stitched by angels, using mystical materials, and is simply the most exquisite, form-fitting, and eye-catching jersey I've EVER worn (and I've worn more than I can count...)
Yes, I know this review will seem hyperbolic, and over-wrought, but nothing I write could every properly encapsulate the spell-binding-beauty of this superlative piece of kit.
It literally makes me ride more, as I want to get out in the heat, to enjoy it!
If you're into summer-riding, buy one RIGHT NOW, and you can thank me for recommending it later....

Flyweight by name, Flyweight by nature
I’m fortunate enough to live in Spain so the vast majority of my riding is in warm weather. I have previously purchased Lightweight jersey but wanted something thinner. The Flyweight is noticeably thinner/lighter and so achieved my aim.
The fit is great, pockets stable and main improvement on other Rapha kit I have is the zipper is a lot easier to do up/undo on the go which makes a huge difference on the hills here.
Overall would happily recommend and/or purchase again, I bought two, black with pink trim and White with blue trim.

Beautiful but too baggy
Bought online. Beautiful but too baggy for me. I’m a skinny 193cm 78kg. I normally wear proteam large, but this classic large is too loose. Perhaps a medium would fit the chest but it would be too short. Shame cos its a really beautiful jersey.
