Women's Range Launch

At midday it still looked like the sun might poke through the clouds, but by early afternoon the BBC had a severe weather warning over London and the rain began to fall in biblical proportions. This wasn’t ideal for the early Spring spin around Regent’s park that was planned for the launch of the Women’s Range. But the new Rapha Condor women’s team braved the elements and made it around the park along with some customers, who used the weather as a great way to test the new Stowaway.
Thanks to all who managed to swim / paddle / boat your way into the park.

Have been waiting for womens gear since you began trading. I got the shirt and the stowaway this week and the fit is a disaster for me! The shirt pulls on my arms when in the biking position despite a generous fit in the body and the stowaway jacket gapes on the waist, I will stick with my men's small stowaway (a fantastic garment by the way!), it looks much better even though the arms are a bit long. I tried the medium garments and didn't think I was difficult to fit! The colour on the website looks a nice bright red and was also disappointed with the rather muted dark red in the flesh.
My partner was delighted to see the garments returned! I was not!
Please have a look at the fit again Rapha.

What a fun evening, save for the abismal weather! was great to ride and chat with the team.
I also did a small wite up of the evening over at my blog > http://bianchista.blogspot.com/2010/03/rapha-ladies-ride_28.html
hope theres more of these rides in future, think on a sunny day there is lots of potential for a packed ladies ride for sure!

A great evening despite the wind and rain! Good to meet folks and see a few familiar faces.
I loved the jersey and stowaway that I tried (that's me modelling the red one in the pic above). Both items sat really well and I barely noticed I was wearing them - which to my mind is the mark of a great garment. No bunching of fabric, or gaps that let the breeze in and little 'riding-up' to speak of. It think I pulled the jersey into position once, automatically, and was surprised how little it had shifted.
I'm sure I'll be acquiring a piece or two fo the range in due course…
Cheers folks!

Thanks so much for a great evening, and really good to meet everyone.
I have since worn my new stowaway jacket and shorts everywhere! I love the fit of the stowaway, but did get one size bigger, as I found my size a little tight. Lots of people have commented, which in turn has all been positive!
Thanks again, and look forward to spearding the Rapha loving around the circut :o)
See you soon!
