Winter Playlist

Di Joe Hall • 21st January 2010 04:12pm • Postato in Misc

One way of helping you churn out the training miles in these sub-zero conditions is a decent soundtrack. Be warned: it is a lot harder to skip tracks or adjust volume levels on your iPod if you are wearing full-fingered gloves.

Hear it on Last FM

2. Jimmy Cliff – You Can Get It If You Really Want
3. America – A Horse With No Name
4. The Who – Can't Explain
5. Richard Wagner – Ride of the Valkyries
6. Cult Hero – I'm A Cult Hero
7. Marcia Griffiths – Feel Like Jumping
8. E.S.G. – Tiny Sticks
9. Talking Heads – Girlfriend Is Better
10. Glenn Miller – In The Mood
11. The Rolling Stones – Street Fighting Man
12. Janet Jackson – Got 'Til It's Gone
13. The Byrds – Eight Miles High

haha Ride of the Valkyries :-) When I listen it I almost saw myself climbing up tough hill in -10°C like some sort of ancient hero :-) just kidding, time for cross-country skiing (but with Rapha merino base layer) ;-)

wonder why Sally Shapiro didn’t make the list? There is a reason why she is known as the “Ice Princess”, how about a listen to “Swimming in the Blue Lagoon” - it will make you put on the neoprene overshoes whether you need em' or not.

How do you deal with the whole 'earphones in and traffic' problem? Do you keep the volume low, or have one earphone out?

maybe its just me but I can't see how anyone can ride with earphones and thereby lose their second most important 'sense' . how do you hear the boy racer steaming up behind or the 20 ton juggernaut?
