Elite Team Sky race jersey created for hot cycling conditions

A jersey developed for Team Sky for the 2014 season, with a brief to create the lightest, most breathable jersey possible. Designed for the hottest riding and racing conditions, the jersey is made from an open mesh and has a ‘flexible’ fit. The jersey has fewer seams than a standard jersey, as well as rolled side seams designed to wrap around the body. This allows for additional gripper in the hem, which in turn keeps bidons secure in pockets. The pockets are also lower than on regular jerseys and the two outer pockets are angled for easier access, with a reinforced pocket base.

The jersey has a full-length VISLON® zip, which significantly reduces friction, vital for pro riders who need to open them easily, whether at high speed or when climbing. The jersey has overlocked stitching throughout, which both reduces weight and improves aerodynamics. The armband and cuffs are also narrow, for extra comfort in an area prone to heavy sweating.

*IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of the fabric, it is essential to wear sunblock underneath the jersey if you are riding in sunny conditions.
