Rapha Oversocks combine a wind-resistant, robust and flexible fabric with classic cycling style.

Performance oversocks for pro style

Popularised in the modern era by riders such as Sean Yates and worn to victory on numerous occasions at Paris-Roubaix and other Spring Classics, oversocks are a stylish addition to any rider’s wardrobe.

Rapha Oversocks are made from a durable, windproof yarn to create a high-stretch mesh fabric that ensures the socks easy to put on. The ankle cuff features a contrast colour band.

Please note:

  • Rapha Oversocks have been specifically designed to be worn with road shoe cleat systems. Wearing them with MTB shoes, including the Rapha Cross Shoes, is likely to damage the Overshoes beyond repair.
  • The sole has a line running along it enabling you to cut a cleat hole quickly and easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No More Cold Feet Jen's famously told his legs to "shut up". Even if I can quiet my legs for a bit, I have never found a way to stop the complaints from my cold feet. As the weather turns cold and I find myself riding more and more in the coolness of the dark evenings, the shoe covers are a great addition to my cycling wardrobe. I love the ease of simply pulling them over my shoes, without all the struggle of some of the neoprene versions. Plus if the temperates rise as the day wears on the wool over shoes breathe and do not over heat my foot like the a rubber booty would. They are also easy to stuff in my jersey in case in the event I want to remove them or add them if the weather turns worse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oversock review I bought a similar pair of the overstocks in 2013 and put many miles into that pair. I recently bought the 2015 version and was excited to get the same Rapha quality, but with the upgraded feature of the reflective block.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oversock for 40 degree temps. I wear a 45 shoe and though it took some effort to pull them on, these XL oversocks are a perfect fit. I wanted something to keep my feet a bit warmer for rides in the mid to low 40's and these are perfect for just that. My only suggestion for an improvement would be to have a hole for the heel pad of the shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty! I have been out twice with these so far this December...these oversocks keep the shoes- and feet- protected from the cool or cold air...and my feet remained warm throughout the ride. Very important for me as my feet were frostbitten skiing decades ago, and they are especially affected by the cold. Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice oversocks It is nice oversocks to use at 5~10C degree. But you should cut the bottom line to use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "don't you have normal shoes?" I like the look of the Rapha Oversocks, nevertheless some people ask me what is the reason I don't have shoes:) They fit quite well. I am not sure if the self cutting of a cleat hole is a good thing. I had some problems to cut it with knife and scissors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright and warm Warmer than others I have used (which surprised me) Bought in pink and they stand out so that drivers notice you. Cutting yourself means they fit your cleat position, however I do use material scissors to avoid fraying. No heel hole so the heal can wear through with time. However they are oversocks and not something I buy excepting them to stay immaculate for years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good socks The Rapha Oversocks are nice to touch and easy to put on. The cut is simple to make for the cleats, and since then they haven't frayed tho some walking in them obviously created a hole in the heel. I'm not convinced about the price of these but I couldn't face the designs of other brands. Rapha released the Reflective Oversocks just after I purchased these, would opt for those ones if buying again as they are a good improvement on the normal ones.

Why do you call this an oversock, when I can clearly see a shoe under it? Its just another overshoe covering.

Asked by: trail
Hi, Rapha Oversocks are made from a durable, windproof yarn to create a high-stretch mesh fabric. As such it is more of a durable 'sock' which fits over the shoe than a formal over shoe
