Beautiful jacket that fails at being waterproof.
Stylish, breathable, fits well... NOT waterproof! I like it so much I'm keeping it anyway but... the first time I wore in rain on the bike I was seriously soaked. Out of the package with a big GoreTex "Guaranteed to Keep You Dry" message and my satisfaction with pretty much EVERY Rapha purchase had me questioning myself... did I sweat all this? Am I wearing it wrong?? Let me know... but for me... this is NOT a waterproof jacket, not even close.

Good raincoat that should last for years
Fit is good and consistent with my usual Rapha size Medium (I'm 6'1" and 168 pounds), where sleeve length is perfect for me (34" sleeve length on dress shirts) and slim fitting, but not too much, so it feels tailored and flattering. I've worn it so far in two downpours and no leaks and does not heat up with moderate hiking effort. I would have liked a chest pocket for phone accessibility, but that likely leads to greater risk of a leak. Gore-Tex is much better than a jacket with a coating, so this garment should last for years with no seepage.

So far so good
I bought this jacket for my partner after so much research about waterproof materials and even though I had doubts based in some of the reviews I have to say he is extremely happy with this jacket even in conditions of heavy rain. Breathable and a very nice blue colour, pictures dont do justice.

Great daily waterproof
Excellent and great-looking jacket for commuting on and off the bike. Yet to try in a proper downpour, but good in moderate rain and comfortable in the dry. Usual Rapha quality

Does it breathe? Are there ventilation holes under the arms? I have a few Rapha rain jackets and they tend to be not breathable such that you are quite sweaty after even a casual ride even if you are dry from the rain…
