Cycling gilet in vibrant hi-vis pink

The Hi-Vis Gilet has been created for riding in low winter light and at night. A more robust version of a product originally designed to complement the Brevet Jersey, the Hi-Vis Gilet is made from a fabric that is durable enough to withstand the demands of the daily commute but has a slim cut for a racing feel. It can be carried as emergency protection and it is also the perfect outer shell on night or low-light rides through the city. A Rapha alternative to garish tabards and Sam Browne belts.

Reviews:

Not only does the hot pink pop in the dark, but the dual stripes are reflective. And as with any vest, it adds some 10 or so degrees of extra warmth when the mercury drops. It’s not much bigger than an orange when folded up, so it stows easily, while the oversize built-in pockets make for easy access to gear and food when you layer up.

The Hi-Vis’ greatest strength, unsurprisingly, lies in its visibility, so for dark commutes, or as an emergency layer when dark rainclouds threaten, it is an excellent alternative to the traditional neon-yellow monstrosity.
