Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Wore yesterday for the first time in 15 degrees but not too warm. Pad is fantastic, faultless fit. Would not buy anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bib Shorts So far these are awesome. Well made. My Favorite bib shorts and probably the most comfortable I have for the cool weather

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be better I've fallen in love with the Classic II bibs for summer riding. On a whim, I bundled these Thermal bibs with a long sleeve jersey. After my first test ride, I am pleased to report that they are every bit as comfortable as the Class II bibs, but of course, they are beautifully warm along with a pair of the merino leg warmers. I also recently bought the Brevet Winter Tights with Pad and plan to have these Thermal bibs bridge the shoulder seasons wherein I may choose to shed the leg warmers. The Winter Tights will be reserved for the proper winter season. I highly recommend these Thermal bibs for riding between -5C to 10C. Below that, you're likely to want a proper pair of tights versus leg warmers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, warm in cooler temps Effective pad. For me, not too thick, enough to work for a multi-hour ride, maybe longer. Perfect strap length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best pad I've ridden in. Bought to use for spring time in UK. The pad is the most comfortable I've used. So good that I bought another lighter pair for the summer. Sizing is pretty accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extra Warm, Extra Comfortable. Bought for our chilly Yorkshire start to the year, this bib is ideal for both winter wear under tights or for chilly spring days with knee warmers. Simple black product allows it to work well with lots of other Rapha bottom half accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be any better Have worn them about 4 times now. They just fit like a glove. Great bib shorts are really about the chamois comfort, the seems, and the seems around the bottom of the leg. What I mean is that you shouldn't notice them. And I don't with these. Sure, these are not cheap, but they are appropriately priced for the quality. I have some bibs which are about $70 less expensive, and no surprise that they are probably 25% less comfortable. I don't really use the key pocket on the back of the bibs, but that is a nice feature for those that may race with these - good place to stash a key.

Does this have the pad from the classic II pad or the classic I bibs? Will they be reissued with a different pad in the next six months?

Asked by: Duffnote
These Thermal Bibs retain the same pad from the Classic I Bibshorts

Which is warmer, classic or pro thermal bibs?

Asked by: Agent Cooper
Both Bibs use the same Roubaix fabric. The difference lies in the fit of the Bib Shorts as the Pro Team are a tighter, more streamlined cut for racing and training at high intensity, whereas the Classic Bib Shorts are designed for all day in the saddle comfort

Is the bib "slim fit" or "normal fit"?

Asked by: Rafita15
Hi, all of our Classic range has a more generous size unlike the Pro Team for example, which is more of a race fit.

Why are these bibs excluded from the classic guarnty?

Asked by: P Diddy
Hi, the Classics Guarantee was designed to offer a chance to ride-test classic items that helped to establish the Rapha brand. This is four of our original items, the Classic Bib shorts, Jersey, Wind jacket and Winter Tights.

At what temperature ranges do suggest reaching for these thermals over standard classic bibs?

Asked by: Dooly
Hi, it always difficult to give exact temperatures as it will depend on your own temperature regulation and exertion level. However, we would recommend using the thermal bibs from temperatures around 10-12 degrees celsius and below. I hope that helps.

I'm in-between sizes (31 inch waist), is it better to size up or down?

Asked by: theantichristy
Hi Nate. We suggest sizing up. But we do have a 90 day return period should you wish to exchange then for the smaller size.
