Classic cycling cap honouring three vintage trade teams
1962 was the year that marked the return of trade teams to the Tour de France, to replace the previous national line-ups. This trio of special edition Rapha caps celebrate the three teams and riders who topped the podium that year. The 49th edition of the Tour saw Belgian Jozef Planckaert of Flandria finish in third, whilst Raymond Poulidor of Mercier lost out to his bitter rival and fellow Frenchman Jacques Anquetil of the iconic St. Raphaël team.
The three cotton Trade Team Caps echo the colours of the uniforms worn by Planckaert, Poulidor and Anquetil during the 1962 Tour de France. With a contrasting five-panel pattern, there is a Rapha logo on the right side panel and a rider emblem on the left side panel that matches the corresponding Trade Team Jersey.
