Tomorrow, We Ride

Door Joe Hall • 17th November 2009 04:44pm • Gepost in Products

The voluptuous pleasure that cycling can give you is delicate, intimate and ephemeral. It arrives, it takes hold of you, sweeps you up and then leaves you again. It is for you alone. It is a combination of speed and ease, force and grace. It is pure happiness.

From Tomorrow, We Ride by Jean Bobet. Published by Mousehold Press and available through Rouleur.cc.

I have just finished this. Jean Bobet has a great persepective.

The translation is perfect, retaining the romanticism of the original French language version whilst being easy on the eye.

I loved every page…

A poetic insight into the harsh reality of bike racing when it comes to earning a living from it. Jean's modesty and admiration for his big brother Louis allows the reader to feel even closer to the star character of this book. Yes, a great and easy read.
