SS10 Range: Sneak Peek No. 7

This sneak peek brings you another addition to the family.
If you spend enough time in the saddle while wearing pants, whether it be riding to work or just riding through your city these undershorts will pleasantly surprise. Intended to be worn throughout the entirety of the day you will be thankful for the addition of the slim Cytech pad found within.
The 100% Merino wool made popular by our base layers makes up the majority of the short. The exception being the added ventilating stripes that run down the side of the Undershorts.

Great idea, these are bang on what I need for my daily commute!
My list of S/S 2010 goodies is growing.
Any news on an updated Fixie/Merino Jersey - we did a survey on it - was hoping for a return to no pockets, and pukka zips, like my beautiful original.

I dunno, Rapha, the jeans I ride my fixie (a gold-anodized ALAN conversion) in are pretty tight, and while a chamois would definitely ease the suffering I endure when I actually put any weight on my riveted Selle Italia Storika, I fear that structural definition may suffer.

I imagine some gents might look forward to that extra bit of enhancement that the slight chamois will offer.

If your jeans are pretty tight I would worry about structural damage more than definition :)
Perhaps you should buy some more relaxed jeans or even some Rapha Trousers?! Your bike sounds nice, a few of us at Rapha are suckers for ALAN. Send us a picture!

A pair of socks would help too!

One point: The Cytech pad on these shorts is very thin, similar to that used by triathletes.

I would worry about structural damage in general, with the Storika, many of them broke away. PENG. I killed one myself.

I love your site, but sometimes it is difficult to make out what the clothes actually look like. The pictures are either too close for proper perspective, or far away shots where it is hard to see details, and then there are the action shots where it is hard to see the product at all.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your feedback. We are looking into the best way to photograph our products for the purpose you mention. Being online sometimes restricts how you can 'touch and feel' products and see them as you would like. We don't want to just follow everyone else and have a standard shop window approach, but at the same time want to cater for customers as best we can.
There is a range of photographic styles depicting most products where you can simply view the piece unworn and laid flat, or as it would be worn. We try to do this in an engaging way.
