“What I remember most about that Baxter ride was the pace and energy we kept through the park. It rained recently so everything was slick with mud and funk but we still averaged 21mph for 45 miles of dirt, which was faster than the rest of the 126 miles we rode that day. It’s clear to me now that we group-channeled some Belgian Radio station or at the very least A Sunday In Hell. Everything worked as one, never missing a shift or breaking ranks, we diligently cranked through Baxter State Park and all it’s beautiful organic filth.”
