South - Rides & Hosts

RIDE: 337 | MILES: 127 | LOCATION: Camp Verde, TX

337 is a 127 mile loop starting and finishing at the Camp Verde General Store in historic Camp Verde, Texas. This 200k features rough country roads and a 7-mile section of gravel as it marches through 19th century battlegrounds, Bandera Pass, Utopia, Leakey and Medina.

RIDE: Talimena Loop | MILES: 115 | LOCATION: Muse, OK

Talimena Loop is a 115 mile loop from the small town of Muse in Southeastern Oklahoma. Forests, mountains, rivers and winding valleys filled with bear and mountain lion form a world nothing like Steinbeck’s account of Oklahoma. The dustbowl didn’t make it this far south.

RIDE: Jasper Disaster | MILES: 70 | LOCATION: Harrison, AR

Jasper Disaster is a 70 mile loop through the breathtaking Ozark Mountains. Starting in Harrison, Arkansas the route moves south to Jasper, Arkansas where it crosses the river and moves deeper into the steep climbs and twisty descents of the beautiful Buffalo River Valley.

RIDE: Rouge Roubaix | MILES: 100 | LOCATION: St. Francisville, LA

Rouge Roubaix is a 100 mile loop through Pinckneyville, Leesely, the Tueplo Bluffs in Louisiana high country, Mississippi River plains and the rolling hills of the delta woodlands. On a rough, dirty, redneck, beautiful and lonely blend of asphalt-single-track, narrow lanes and gravel roads expect plantations, shanties and shacks. Strong coffee and beignets, boudain, rice and beans, Abita Amber beer, the Pond Store, and the highest security prison in the south.

RIDE: Mississippi Delta | MILES: 105 | LOCATION: Memphis, TN

By embracing the expanse of slate-flat delta surrounding Memphis rather than piecing together the few and modest hills in the area, Mississippi Delta is a monumental ride in humble lands. For 105 miles, chipseal, dirt and gravel roads meander south along the river past oxbows, chutes and St. Francis National Forest on it’s way to Helena Aransas. This rewarding point-to-point demands suffering and patience on the hot, flat, treeless delta plains.

RIDE: Leipers Fork | MILES: 102.5 | LOCATION: Leipers Fork, TN

Leipers Fork, a 102.5 mile loop showcasing Middle Tennessee, is absolutely beautiful. On well-paved, rural, never-flat scenic byways it winds through rolling hills past tremendous limestone bluffs, creeks, rivers, farm country and the town of Fly. This ride promises more animals on the road than cars, and fudge pie.
