Rapha Cycle Clubs in October
Rapha now have five permanent Cycle Club locations worldwide: San Francisco, London, Sydney, Osaka, and now, New York City. As you may have experienced for yourself, these are places designed to make everyone and anyone who rides a road bike or has an interest in the sport and culture of road racing, feel welcome. Even if you have merely a passing regard for bikes or Bradley Wiggins, you’ll find damn good coffee, food and drink, hospitality, products and maybe even Wiggins himself enjoying a ristretto or two.
If you’re simply stopping by to watch the last 10km of the Giro di Lombardia, or arriving at dawn for an espresso and pastry before heading out on one of the organised group rides, the Cycle Club is the place to be.
More than just a place to buy the latest Rapha products, the Clubs also screen live racing and host exclusive exhibitions and events. The perfect home for the sport and culture of road racing, Rapha Cycle Clubs offer the ultimate Rapha experience.
Here’s a rundown of what to expect at Rapha Cycle Clubs in the coming season…
Cycle Club NYC
You can’t get a more iconic location than NYC. It has a strong cycling heritage, stretching all the way back to the 19th century with track racing and into the 20th century with messenger culture and road races within the city. Transport by bike in the city is huge and Rapha are proud to now have a home in the metropolis.
Savory items from The Cannibal are on offer every day, including sandwiches, salads and sides, along with coffee and espresso from La Colombe. On the weekends, donuts from Gypsy Donut are a popular addition.
Upcoming events: The season-end party for the local racing organization (CRCA) will be taking place in early November.
The CC NYC will be showing the Giro di Lombardia live on Sunday, with a few vintage editions of the race being screened in the Club during the leadup to Sunday's event.
We are also rebroadcasting the official UCI coverage of both the Men's and Women's World Championship Road Races throughout this week.
Every Saturday unless otherwise stated.
Meet at 8:30am for coffee, pedals turning by 9am. Route will vary, but will be 40-60 miles. The pace will be 'recreational' to accommodate every rider's ability.
The Club will also be adding a weekly, early morning (hard) ride in Central Park with the NYC Rapha team starting on Tuesday, October 8th.
Address: 64 Gansevoort Street, New York, NY 10014
Hours: Mon-Sat – 7am to 8pm Sun – 7am to 6pm.
The flagship Cycle Club, found in the city where Rapha was established.
With Regents Park just up the road and a bustling central location in Soho, the Rapha Cycle Club London is always worth a visit if you are riding, working or merely browsing in the area.
We show all the live racing and the atmosphere in the Cycle Club is intense and exciting. Especially with 10km to go when the "no service" rule comes into play and the staff join the customers in cheering on the peloton.
Races are shown live everyday with evening repeats.
Giro di Lombardia Showing live on Sunday 6th October.
Saturday Morning Club Ride
Saturday 5th October sees a southbound ride following the route of the popular sportive "Ride of the Falling Leaves" while an alternative eastbound ride will head out to Blackmore.
Meeting outside the Club at 08:30 for a 09:00 depart, our Saturday rides cover between 100km and 120km. Led by knowledgeable Rapha guides at a social pace of around 25kp/h, we also aim for a café stop around the halfway point.
Wednesday Evening Women's Rides
With a start and finish at the Club, meeting at 18:30 and roll-out at 19:00, the rides are led by two Rapha women at a conversational pace, returning to the Cycle Club at 20:00 for refreshments.
Thursday Morning Winter Rides
During the winter months we will be running early morning ‘Wakey Wakey’ rides alternating between laps of Regents Park (0630, Royal College of Physicians) and Richmond Park (0630 at Roehampton Gate). Each ride finishes at the Cycle Club for breakfast and a free filter coffee.
Serving the finest espresso and showing racing from the world's greatest races on three large screen TVs, the Rapha Cycle Club Sydney is the ideal meeting place for road riders and a luxury start or finish to any ride.
Races are shown live everyday with evening repeats.
Giro di Lombardia Showing live on Saturday 7th/ Sunday 6th October.
Come rain, hail or shine (usually shine) the CC Sydney ride rolls out from the Cycle Club at 6 am every Wednesday. We meet at 5:45 for a quick espresso and wake-up boost then onto the road for a swift and steady 35k down to La Perouse. Passing through Maroubra Beach and Centennial Park then back onto crown street for the home straight to the Cycle Club for breakfast.
Alternatively, take the mystery ride which usually encounters hills, back streets, off road and the rest…
Fridays are dedicated to the CC Sydney women’s ride, the pace is steady and the route a mystery until you're on the road, with some off-piste and adventurous riding taking in some of the best views in Sydney – there is no better way to start the day.

Saturday Club Ride
Every Saturday the Club Ride takes riders over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Marin County with highly varied terrain and beautiful scenery – gravel climbs, redwoods and more. Each ride meets at the Club at 8am, departing at 8:30am with a distance anywhere from 40-70 miles on average with plenty of options to split off. The pace is about 15-17mph with a "no drop" policy.
Thursday Stammstisch Ride
‘Stammtisch’ translates from German as ‘regulars' table’, the gathering (and drinking) spot for locals in a neighborhood pub. Which is why the ride ends at Biergarten for a few frosty brews. This two-hour ride starts at the Cycle Club at 6pm and lands at the Biergarten at 8pm.
Rapha customers in San Francisco now have the option for same-day delivery for those must have today purchases – delivering your Rapha goods to you with the best couriers in the Bay Area.
