Rapha 24
Rapha London's very own answer to Jack Bauer, Graeme Raeburn [ actually an anagram of Jack Bauer - Ed. ], has just completed his very own episode of 24: The National 24 hour Time Trial Championship.

Being Graeme's very first time trial, he completed the 24 hours in a time of …24 hours, and covered over 416 miles to come in 14th place. This is truly an amazing feat and yet there is still more to come. This is, apparently, just training (after last Monday's Étape too) for the upcoming Cent Cols Challenge in September.
Graeme recommends the National 24 as "…a great ride everyone should try." I confess I shall have to pass on this one. Gulp.

They say you are only as good as your support team, so I have to say a big thank you to Jon, Camille and Joe for the stirling job they did.
Bottles hand-ups, stuffing my pockets with food, and the constant witty comments kept my moral sky-high all 24 hours. Good job lads - whose turn next year?

Hey Chris, well remembered - I was in awe of your full immaculate kit!
That was a fantastic ride right up to the foot of Ventoux, then it got slightly hellish. A great day in the saddle, but not the best preparation for the 24 the weekend after…
