Randonnée Dolomites
Ride in the hallowed battlegrounds of the Giro d'Italia.

Day 1 VENICE - BELLUNO
Stats: 140km (2000m of climbing)
Main climbs: Zuel di La, San Boldo (706m)
Description: A spectacular start as we leave Venice and head north towards our first appointment with the mountains.
Day 2 BELLUNO - CORVARA
Stats: 125km (4600m of climbing)
Main climbs: Giau (2233m)
Description: Day Two promises to be a very demanding day in the saddle with the Passo Giau taking us to 2233m.
Day 3 CORVARA - MERANO
Stats: 115km (4600m of climbing)
Main climbs: Pordoi (2239m)
Description: Yet more climbing as the route heads to the beautiful spa town of Merano. We depart Corvara via the gentle Passo Campolongo and then tackle the fantastic Passo Pordoi, a climb regularly featured in the Giro d'Italia.
Day 4 MERANO - BORMINO
Stats: 100km (2800m of climbing)
Main climbs: Stelvio (2757m)
Description: Today's stage has one focus - the awesome Passo dello Stelvio, the second highest road pass in Europe at 2757m. We climb it from the classic Prato dello Stelvio side and ahead is 24.3km of ascent to the rifugio at the summit.
Day 5 BORMIO - LOVERE
Stats: 145km (3500m of climbing)
Main climbs: Gavia (2600m)
Description: Day Five immediately starts with the climb of the Passo di Gavia, a climb made famous by American Andy Hampsten's exploits at the 1988 Giro d'Italia.
Day 6 LOVERE - LAKE COMO
Stats: 140km (3500m of climbing)
Main climbs: Ghisallo (754m),
Description: Our final day is spent in the beautiful foothills to the north of Bergamo and Lake Como. The day will be spent on tiny backroads followed by a ferry journey across Lake Como to start the final climb of the trip, the famous Madonna del Ghisallo to the Museo del Ciclismo and Madonna del Ghisallo chapel.
