Day 1 Girona - Sant Julia de Vilatorts
Heading West out of Girona, we trace the course of the Riera de Llemana river before passing through Angles and the gateway to the hills. We head for Osor and Sant Hilari Sacalm along tiny, untrafficked roads, perfect for cycling. After cresting the Col de Revell (820m) it's a downhill run to our overnight stay in Sant Julia de Vilatorta.

Day 2 Saint Julia de Vilatorts - Camprodon / Mollo
Day 2 starts with a gentle 5km climb as we head north towards the Judgement Mountains. The rest of the mornings ride is undualating as pass through olive groves and farms, but with the silhouette of the Pyrenees on the horizon to remind us of the work to come. After lunch we have the obstacles of the Coll de Canes (1120m) and Coll de Sentigosa (1064m) to overcome before descending into Sant Joan de Abadesses. We're not quite home and dry yet as the 11km climb to the 12th century Romanesque church at Sant Marti Surroca still lies in front of us. From here, though we have an amazing downhill run to our resting point for the night

Day 3 Camprodon / Mollo - Girona
Our final day packs a lot in. We encounter the entriguing scenery of the Garrotxa Volcanic Region and Olot, the city of volcanoes, tackle the epic climb of Rocacorba and experience some sublime cycling roads in the steep sided, wooded valleys around Rocabruna and Oix.
