The ultimate road riding adventure.
The Rapha Randonnée Alps follows the classic Route des Grandes Alpes, taking in historic climbs of the Tour de France including some of the most majestic mountain passes in the world. Starting at Lake Geneva, the route heads south through the Savoie, over the Massif des Ecrins, Alpes de Haute Provence and Maritimes before arriving at the Cote d’Azur in Nice.

Day 1 EVIAN – MEGEVE
Stats: 130km (3070m of climbing).
Main Climbs: Col de la Colombière, Col d'Aravis.
Spectacular views as you depart from the shores of Lake Geneva with two smaller climbs of the Cou and Plaine Joux to ease us in to the bigger tests of the Colombière and Aravis.
Day 2 MEGEVE – BRIDES LES BAINS
Stats: 140km (3500m).
Main Climbs: Col des Saisies, Cormet de Roselend.
The second stage tackles the Cormet de Roselend with a wooded valley and ice-scoured rock faces.
Day 3 BRIDES LES BAINS – L'ALPE D'HUEZ
Stats: 130km (4190m).
Main Climbs: Col de la Madeleine, L'Alpe d'Huez.
A route worthy of a Grand Tour, finishing atop of Alpe d’Huez. En route are the monstrous ascents of the Madeleine and Glandon.
Day 4 L'ALPE D'HUEZ – JAUSIERS
Stats: 163km (3495m).
Main Climbs: Col d'Izoard, Col de Vars.
Some flattish roads to recover from the previous day before tackling another legendary climb, the Col d’Izoard.
Day 5 JAUSIERS – ST MARTIN VESUBIE
Stats: 105km (2510m).
Main Climbs: Col de Bonette-Restefond, Col St. Martin.
On a clear day you will be able to spot the Mediterranean at the highest point of the stage’s profile, the mighty Col de la Bonette.
Day 6 ST MARTIN VESUBIE – NICE
Stats: 110km (2300m).
Main Climbs: Col de la Madone, Col de Turini.
The landscape suddenly changes to inform you that you are close to the Riviera. The climbs of the Turini, Madone and Col d’Eze lie between you and the beautiful beaches of Nice.
