For months now I thought we were destined for an amazing century featuring Snoqualmie Falls. A friend, who a few years back hiked past the falls on her way from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail, had me sold on this being one of the single best destinations of this years Continental. So when we called it quits atop a golf course surprisingly tolerable of our existence and more than thrity miles away from the Snoqualmie, it took me a minute, maybe two to let go of my cliff diving and swimming through clear deep frigid water visions.
