The Rapha Brisbane Gentlemen's Race 2013
I had envisioned gravel of the small blue metal variety with a firm sandy base but the section before the Cunningham highway was rough. Golf ball sized rocks littered the road and one of these was enough to provide us our first puncture of the day.

Bordeaux - Paris 2013
In 2013 Rapha will be recreating this great race as the Bordeaux-Paris 2013 Challenge, a team cycling event run over the famous Bordeaux-Paris route and, crucially, ridden through the night. The aim of the ride is to raise £250,000 for Ambitious about Autism.

The 1910 Challenge
The 1910 Challenge ride honours Lapize and his contemporaries, as well as Steines and Desgrange, giving four amateur riders the opportunity to cycle the same route as the leg-shattering stage 100 years ago.
Galibier
The Col du Galibier was first scaled by cyclists at the Tour de France in 1911. Henri Desgrange, the Father of the Tour, heralded it as a great victory for mankind to defy the laws of gravity and climb this giant.

Paris Brest Paris
After more than six months of arduous training and qualifying rides, four Rapha riders headed to Paris in August 2011 to participate in Paris-Brest-Paris. The oldest and certainly one of the longest road races still in existence, the 1,200km plus journey is not for the faint of heart, head or legs. Here are their accounts.
