North American Handmade Bike Show

Epilogue

Rapha returned to NAHBS at the beginning of 2008 as an exhibitor when the show moved to Portland. A foundation to all of Rapha’s weekend events, the show was the place to get a first look at the Spring/Summer ’08 product range. The new Italian Gilet and Hampsten Gavia jersey were big draws, as was the new lighter weight and completely packable Stowaway Jacket in three colours.

The space was adjacent to Rapha Continental rider Ira Ryan, whose homemade sugar cookies shaped like his swallow logo helped get us through three busy days. At one point on Saturday afternoon the fire marshal closed the doors because the hall was beyond capacity, cyclists pushing to get in and see the new Rapha range. Towards the end of the show on Sunday afternoon, avid cyclist, comedian and Rapha fan, Robin Williams stopped in and left with two jerseys to add to his collection.

About the event

Rapha is an exhibitor at the North American Handmade Bike Show during 8th – 10th February. The spring/summer 08 range will be previewed. Selected Rapha and Rouleur products will be available for sale.
