Tribute to Major Tom
Tom Simpson blazed a trail for British cycling on the continent in the 1960s. Dubbed Major Tom, he was equally enamoured to the French cycling press. The quintessential gentleman, his immaculate turnout belied a killer instinct on the bike, as evidenced by his palmares: world champion, Monument winner and Olympic medalist.
Inspired by the iconic team kits Simpson raced in, this special edition jersey recalls a golden age of British cycling in both design and construction, made from a luxurious merino wool blend and featuring several beautiful period details, including buttoned breast pockets, embroidered badges and woven labels.
