Meet at 8:30am for coffee, pedals turning by 9am. Route will vary, but will be 40-60 miles. The pace will be 'recreational' to accommodate every road rider's ability. Perfect weather always predicted.
Sunday Morning Women's Rides
Join us on Sunday 20th October to ride 40 miles marking the start of a Rapha Cycle Club NYC women's ride program for autumn. The rides will be a shared adventure for all abilities - from brand new roadies to seasoned racers.
Rapha is leading this ride over the following Sundays:
Oct 20th, Oct 27th, Nov 3rd and Nov 10th.
Each ride starts and finishes at the Rapha Cycle Club at 64 Gansevoort Street, New York, NY 10014, with coffee at 9:00am and roll out at 9:30am.
The ride will head north and out towards Palisades NY via the lovely path on River Road, up to the The Market for a snack, then returning to the Cycle Club for celebratory food and drinks.
- Distance: ~50 miles
- Speed: The pace will be 'recreational' to accommodate every road rider's ability, but this is a no-drop ride and we'll always regroup at the top of climbs.
PLEASE NOTE: You should be comfortable riding for 4–5 hours. Helmets are required. We advise you to bring your own essentials including food, water bottles, and spare tubes. A route will be posted before the ride.
Wednesday Morning Freelancer's Ride
We will head over to the Hudson River for a quick 2.5 hours up River Road and back down Route 9W. A great way to grab a ride with fellow roadies away from the hectic weekend bike traffic. Whether you're on vacation, visiting from another city, or just working a flexible schedule, this will be the ride to join.
Meet at the cycle club at 10AM, roll out at 10:30AM. Led by Jonathan Retseck of Hudson Sportif.
Meet at 5:40am at Columbus Circle for a spirited training ride of 4-6 laps around Central Park (to finish before the road is open to automobiles). For the those looking to burn all the matches and leave it all on the road before work, join the NYC Rapha Racing team for a few hot laps around Central Park. The pace is high and often includes some training games to ensure you hit your max heart rate before 7am.
Riders should feel comfortable riding in a paceline, and basic road racing etiquette is required.
Last-minute ride details or cancelations are posted on the team's Facebook page »
