Cool in the Heat

The Rapha Lightweight Jersey has been designed for the hardest, hottest and most demanding rides. On the big day, this is the jersey to reach for. The jersey is made from an ultra-lightweight fabric that is extremely breathable and has a merino blend for comfort. A hybrid material, it is the same as that used in the Rapha Condor pro cycling team jerseys.

Regulating body temperature in hot conditions is crucial to performance and the Lightweight Jersey has a full-length zip and a special mesh panel in the back to help keep the rider cool. There are two large cargo pockets for storage and an additional zipped ‘ballast pocket’ runs the width of the jersey, ideal for storing a gilet or arm warmers. The jersey has a discreet zipped valuables pocket and the left sleeve features a contrast armband for that trademark Rapha look.

Note on sun protection

No cycling jersey is completely UV proof. The full-length mesh panel in the back of the Lightweight Jersey provides great ventilation but it also has a very open weave. Always apply sun cream under your cycling jersey to protect your skin.
