Levi's GranFondo
Anyone out there a skateboarding fan? I know that we have more than a few customers that have come from the sport. Aging superstars in their own rights. We might even go so far as to consider the Rapha Continental somewhat of a tongue in cheek play on that concept. Show up somewhere new, ride the area, shoot it, and then begone with yourselves. The perfect combination of travel and brotherhood. Riding with your friends to ride with your friends. So, it made sense to get skate photographer Jon Humphries in on that action.
Navigating the 6,000 people at the Levi's GranFondo was the tricky part. So, we put Jon and our extraordinary Videographer Benji Wagner on the back of motorcycles to let them slip seamlessly (if not soundlessly) through the throngs of people riding in Northern California two weeks ago.
Keep an eye out in the coming weeks to see the photos and video from Cycle Oregon and then Levi's Granfondo on November 11th to wrap up the season of Rapha Continental riding. Although fear not, we still have a few tricks up our sleeves for the coming months.
