출퇴근에 이상적인 사이클링 오버쇼트

Rapha 투어링 쇼트는 마운틴 바이커들에게 “배기(baggies)”로 알려진 사이클링 오버쇼트를 로드 라이딩에 맞게 재해석한 제품입니다. 가볍고 통기성 있는 원단으로 제작되었으며, 도시 출퇴근 및 장거리 라이드 모두에 적합할 만큼 사용 범위가 넓습니다.

bib 쇼트 위에도 착용할 수 있도록 설계된 투어링 쇼트는 슬림하고 현대적인 컷으로 라이딩 시 맞바람에 펄럭이지 않습니다. 퍼포먼스를 향상시키는 특징으로 웨이스트밴드의 미끄럼방지 패널이 쇼트의 형태를 고정시키며, 속옷에 달라붙지 않도록 단 안쪽에 새틴 테이프를 적용하였습니다.

디테일 요소로 쓸림을 방지하는 특별한 보강 천과 사용이 간편한 허리 조절부가 있습니다. 쇼트 전면의 지퍼 포켓이 얕게 재단되어 사이클링 시 물건이 다리 쪽으로 파고들지 않으며 별도의 귀중품용 후면 포켓이 있습니다. 다리 뒤쪽 반사소재 파이핑으로 어두운 곳에서도 라이더가 눈에 잘 띄게 해줍니다.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good pair of shorts Brought these for my weekend rides and sportives as I am nott a fan of Lycra. Shorts are well made with nice little touches like the silk hem liner to prevent chaffing. Fit is perfect I'm a 34" waist brought large, legs are a nice tailored fit that do not flap in the wind. My one gripe that stops these from being a 5 star product is the lack of pockets. There is the large zipped pocket on the rear waistband that my iPhone 6 fits nicely into and one tiny key fob pocket on the front waist band. A side pocket would be a welcome addition as these are sold as a touring short. However the lack of pockets will not prevent me from purchasing a second pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant as an MTB Short! I bought this as I'm primarily an XC MTB rider and racer and I'm fed up with the trend of voluminous baggy pyjama styled MTB wear. The shorts are fabulous, the cut, sizing and length is perfect. The fabric has a 3D stretch that moves beautifully with you as you move your body position on the bike and the finish wicks water and mud nicely. The concealed waist pocket and zip front pocket are practical neat touches. Once I'd got over "they're too nice to wear off road" and used them, they stood up brilliantly to mud, rain and repeated washes... in fact I liked them so much I bought a second pair... quality will out and these are a great quality cycle shorts for any discipline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rad shorts! Great for mountain biking & commuting My first test of these shorts was on a 30 mile mtb ride that ended at a creek where I then waded and fished. Needless to say, they were not clean by the end of the day. The fit was much better than I expected. They come to just above the knee (I'm 5'10" / 160lbs and a 30 waist is a perfect fit). I'd prefer a slightly shorter length, but other than that, they're great. They don't sag on longer rides (which I'd imagine was a key point in designing a touring short) and contrary to some reviews, I can fit my iphone 6 and a small Tanner Goods wallet in the back pocket. I also have a pair of Kitsbow shorts and Mission and these seem to be the sturdiest - something about the elastic band in the rear makes them fit really well on the waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim fitting goodness. I have 3 of these bought over separate orders. They are that good. A back pocket for cash and an iphone. A small one in front just nice for a car key remote. The lack of side pockets help keep this pair of shorts neat. Anything else you need to bring along that wouldn't fit in a pair of pants should be in your hydration backpack anyway. The material is outstanding, tough and resilient against abrasion without being thick and stuffy. I use this for trail riding because I am not into the baggy loud look of most mountain bike brands. Cycling bibs or tights does not fit my enduro bike, so this is perfect for me. There is a silky band around the openings which makes the shorts non stick to thighs while cycling and the ring hook zippers are great for handling with gloves. The elastic material around the waist is a good idea for movement around the bike. These details really count.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality. Use frame-mount mini pump. Got these shorts so I wouldn’t have to wear lycra on the roadbike since I came from mountainbiking. Slim fitting and come down to my knees. Shorts looks good and similar to shorts worn by bike messengers at work . Only time they flapped was on a very fast +35 mph descent. Don’t put your mini pump in your rear jersey pocket because it will chaff the upper-rear stretch fabric of the shorts and cause piling (use frame mount). Shorts are also great for post-ride lunch with friends at regular restaurants because you don’t feel like you’re walking around over-exposed like you would in tight lycra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top marks I bought these for my daily commute and they're perfect. I'm 180cm /70kg and Medium fits just right. I've worn over padded shorts too and they're still comfortable. The material is lightweight and has ample stretch..... I also use them for my bootcamp sessions. I suspect they will probably dry quickly too for the days I get caught in the rain on my way to work. I'd consider buying another pair but if the Randonnee shorts are made from the same material then I'd probably opt for them due to the superior styling and additional pockets. In summary, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent shorts, superb fit, can be worn anywhere I wear my touring shorts almost daily from March to November. For cycling, touring, about town, on the beach, frisbee, in the workplace, out for supper, travelling, they're lightweight, fast drying, pack up small, a fabulous fit, hard-wearing, simple, classic and can cut it anywhere. There are also two useful discreet zip pockets, the front one tiny, perfect for a key, a condom, some loose change, etc., the rear pocket larger, good for a phone, a small wallet/credit card. I've even worn my shorts along with a smart white tailored linen short sleeved shirt to a friend's wedding ceremony/reception in Bath this last summer and looked way sharper than many of the very high-earning, besuited guests, overdressed as they were for the sweltering end of June temperatures. Sometimes you have bits of clothing that you just live in until they fall apart. I've been living in these for nearly two years but they're still in very tidy condition and a long, long way from falling apart. I haven't even cracked open the packaging of my spare pair yet. Bravo! Another example of why I never regret paying for quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as they used to be Am on my 3rd pair of these in the last few years and the updates they have made aren't for the better (Sorry Rapha chaps). The new zips / toggles are painful to use and counter intuitive and can dig (especially the front zip) when cycling. Still a great short but the old zip layout combo was better...

Quickie re sizing; I usually wear S in Lycra shorts, but in casual wear jeans for example I'm between 30 and 31" (I get 31 where possible) and I wear them snug not baggy. Recommendations for size for these? 30 or 32... Thanks!

Hi, it is always hard to advise on sizing as we all differ slightly. The Touring short does have a slim, tailored cut and we would advise trying the size 32. We do have a free 90 day return period should you find they do not fit.
