I would love, love, love these gloves if it weren't for the uncomfortable seam attaching the thumb to the inside of the main body of the left glove (that meaty area that rests on the handlebar). It is extremely obtrusive and uncomfortable. Why this is only the case with the left glove I am uncertain; I haven't bothered to closely examine it yet, and I'm currently on a long term cycling tour, so I can't send them back either. Luckily, with the weather as unnaturally warm as it is I haven't needed to use them much. If it weren't for that seam issue on the one glove these would be five stars for sure. Absolutely fantastic otherwise.

Rated 1 di 5 di da Very disappointed I had high hopes for these gloves. While they functioned as expected ... that is, providing good finger dexterity while affording protection in colder/wet conditions ... the exposed interior seams were hard and rubbed uncomfortably. So much so that I had to take the gloves off after about 45 minutes of riding. This seems like a design flaw which Rapha needs to address.

Rated 1 di 5 di da Poorly made gloves Pro Team Soft Shell gloves: The seams on the inside are far too hard and dig into your palm. As this is the part of your hand that rests on the bars it's uncomfortable. It also leaves you with a deep purple line across your hand even after a short ride.

Rated 3 di 5 di da Good, not great, and far too expensive Quite thin but also quite warm. Fits well. Held up well to steady rain but the palm material soaked through immediately and stayed very wet. Love the bright coral but gets dirty very easily. Do not like the unpadded palms. Many great options exist at lower price points.

Rated 4 di 5 di da Great for cyclocross. Some odd features. Great for windy cool days, or damp/wet warmish ones, but not enough as it gets colder or cold and wet. Strange to me not to put snot-wipers on both thumbs, it's only on the right one; every time I wipe my nose with the left hand, I'm greeted by some suede that kind of confuses me. Padding is just right bare minimum, great for cyclocross. Wrist collar stitching has been snapping, have a concern about how long these will last.

Rated 4 di 5 di da A great pair of gloves The perfect autumn gloves which, to be honest, I forget I'm wearing most of the time. They are a snug fit but they still leave my hands with all the desterity they need while keeping them nice and warm and although not fully waterproof it takes a significant downpoor toi get them soaked. Even wet, though, they still keep my fingers warm. Most important of all, I don't have to take them off to switch STRAVA on and off! The thumb wipes are VERY soft. It goes without saying that they have all the usual Rapha refinement in the style department!

Rated 5 di 5 di da Super fitting, waterproof lightweight glove I've always liked these gloves from the first time they came on sale,I wear Proteam items from Rapha most times when Iam on the bike, these Proteam soft shell gloves epitomise the term Performance Roadwear, I got the large after returning the medium size so they fit smaller than I thought but these are definitely Proteam in every sense, in performance, fit, lightweight and waterproof to boot, I love these gloves but I wouldn't use them when the temperature gets below 5 degrees, but their not a deep winter glove,

Rated 4 di 5 di da Light glove with fantastic comfort Was looking for a warm glove, and purchaged this. Thourght is was a little to thin to be warm, but it turned out to be just the thing i was looking for. I like a glove to be very thin, so i Can feel the grip of the handlebar and easy shift the gears. But it still have to be warm enough to keep the hands warm in cool and wet conditions. Still havent been riding in minus deg. But so far i have been able to controle the gears with warm hands and fingers. Very happy about their performance, and it fits very well to both Pro team jacket and the hardshell.

What temperature range are these gloves suitable for? Which gloves will you recommend for temperatures from +5° to - 5°?

Richiesta da: akhm
Hi, it is hard to give an exact range as everyone's hands need varying levels of protection to stay warm. However, these gloves are designed for use between about 1-10 degrees celsius. For very cold temperatures, significantly below 0 degrees celsius, we recommend using the Deep Winter Gloves. A liner can also be used under these for additional protection.

Looking for some winter gloves for between 0 -10 Celsius, what is the difference between these softshell and the winter gloves for £85? Which is better for dexterity? Both same warmth?

Richiesta da: Dedwar49
The Pro Team Softshell Gloves are thinner which have very good dexterity whilst providing a lot of warmth for their bulk. The Winter Gloves are a bit warmer and still have good dexterity, but are slightly bulkier.

Are the Merino liners able to fit underneath these gloves?

Richiesta da: JT22
Hi, the Merino Liner is not designed to fit under these gloves. These gloves have a slim fit to avoid the normal bulky feel you often have with winter gloves.

There are some complaints about the seams when I'm reading through the review section, has there been a re-design regarding the seams?

Richiesta da: bob_z
Hi, we have made a few changes to the Pro Team Softshell Gloves. The seam at the base of the thumb has now been removed to prevent any rubbing on the palms. We have also re-designed the top stitching to make this more durable.
