Anywhere secure to leave the bike at the end whilst watching P-R and consuming a well earned beer and frites, or should I plan on bringing my U-lock?
Looking forward to it and weather may actually be good ;).

Hi
Is the map on the day fairly detailed or do we need to bring our own?

Chris, there will be secure bike parking at the pub, with someone watching the bikes… No need to bring your lock.
Carl, the more prepared you are the better. Bring your own map if you wish, otherwise our route card and the road markings should be enough to get you round.

Road markings! blimey you have been busy I wasn't expecting that.
This is almost sounding like borderline 'to good to be true'

Thanks Joe - appreciate the effort that has obviously gone into arranging this.

Forecast for here (Czech Republic) looks promising 10°C and rain, so all I need is some cobbles :-)

This is looking to be an epic - can't wait! Is there a rough start time or is everyone heading off when they want?

9am is the official start time.
Obviously the sooner you set off the better but it will have to be staggered if there is a large number of riders…
REMEMBER - you need to register at the start to collect your route card which entitles you to a free beer and frites.
See you there.

Have you got any expectations re: numbers of riders?
What beer is on offer? :)
And do we have to give the route card back to claim this or just show it (I would like to keep mine)?
And how far is the route if the 'bail-out' option is taken?

From the map above I've attempted to create a Garmin course file. I'm not sure how accurate it is and it only comes out to 85km but might be useful to store a rough idea of the route if you have a edge 305/705

Just got back - excellent day's riding, and nice to try something a bit different. Thanks to all the folks at Rapha for organising a great day :)

Probably the best days 100k I've ever done. Great company and good riding all round. And the Rapha personel on hand all day were a credit to you.
I think it could have been very different if it had been wet all day?

Thanks for a great day! My only critism is that the way marking was a little well hidden, but a great ride ride anyway. Thanks to all involved

That was one of the best ideas to happen to cycling in London. Fabulous day out, so much fun. Great to see a pub packed with cyclists watching a great race on telly too.

Fantastic idea and a good hard ride! Thanks to the Rapha team. Getting through Sector 5 without a foot down was very satisfying

Well done guys! A really different 'feel' to this ride and I am pretty sure everyone had a great day. I did have a chuckle about some of the 'blinging' carbon super-bikes ploughing through the mud - so much for saving 20 grams with a £140 stem :)

Fantastic!!!! loved every Km, Can't believe I made it round without a puncher (especially through Mimms Park) .Anyone know how many punchers it took to win the Fletch jersey?

Thanks for the event chaps!
Really enjoyed the day, a really good feel to the ride and very social.
Particularly enjoyed the bemused look of people walking their dogs through quite wooded paths when a group of lycra clad roadies come plunging through the woods, very funny!
Only downside was we had to cut short as the signage wasn’t great, but definitely glad I turned up.

Many thanks guys & girls who helped organize the day out. Nice that everyone made the effort & rode on proper 'Roubaix' style bikes- it's amazing how much abuse a road bike can take.
Nice to have bike looked after while enjoying our chips and great beer.

Fantastic route (though a little more signposting would have helped) and a great day out. I really hope that this becomes an annual event.
