Rated 4 out of 5 by from Equal parts form and function General Mainly use it for weekend commuting/city rides. Jacket not too thick, but i find it does keep you warm and wind out. Fit is slightly large around the shoulders (vs. other Rapha gear of the same size) but probably about right if you wear a layer or 2 underneath Pros Great styling and performance - can wear it nights out, regardless of whether you're riding or not. Love the pop up collar and strap. Like the hidden pocket at the back Cons Strap is a bit fiddly, and haven't got used to it yet. Zippers are a bit sticky - front main and the back I would of preferred if the reflective strip on the back of the collar was a white or a pink

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A stylish yet functional all-round city jacket Since Rapha launched their blazer in 2012, I have been waiting to see their take on city riding formal jackets. Windproof - tick, wool warmth - tick, fastenings and pockets - tick, colour - tick, off-bike comfort - tick. I live in London and the weather is usually dry, windy and cold to mild. This jacket covers me just perfect from early morning commute to after dinner commute and it can take the occasional summer drizzle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart cut, travels well Great jacket, looks really smart and fits beautifully (in line with other Rapha products on size - I take a Medium cycling jersey and this jacket is perfect in Medium). It doesn't crease, so it travels very well. It's light and comfortable so it tolerates hot days well, but is substantial enough to keep you warm in a cool wind. There are 3 external zip pockets and one internal zip pocket, so all valuables can be stowed securely with no danger of falling out. The windproofing in the front panel seems to work nicely in a breeze. The only downside is that the zip can be a little sticky sometimes, and the neck fastener is something of a faff to start with (although is becoming easier with usage).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Functional This jacket is a very specific style. I've found it difficult to match it with many outfits that I own that are not a polo and khaki's with sneakers, i.e., Rapha's current look. I call it the Mod George McFly look. My wife hates it. Lol. Maybe it's the hidden zipper on this jacket that she doesn't like, or the white sneakers, I'm not asking her opinion on this one. But I suppose my difficulty styling myself is my problem. The jacket itself is very nice. It's sort of a take on a suit jacket that has been crossed with a Derby jacket. The material is a wool suiting fabric, like a tropical wool so it's lighter on the outside but has a windproof element to back it up. the jacket doesn't have a huge amount of structure but it fits very well and it works very well on the bike. As other reviewers have mentioned, the collar strap is a little difficult to manage and the zip pocket is a nice feature. Overall a nice item and I'm happy I purchased it. It really is just the right touch for your Mod George McFly look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look and performance but small imprefections I was looking for a jacket that would combine elegant look with performance features. Mainly for riding to work in 0-10°C. I needed good breathability and front wind protection. The look, wind protection on the front and breathability are excellent. It is very well protected against water, although it's hard to tell how long it will last. I love the collar fastening, but here starts problems - fixing the collar is quite cumbersome and it easily get's loose if you move your head to hard (but not that hard). It would be better if it had better snap. Front zip cover does not always stick to the jacket. Side pockets are a bit to shallow - I lost some items, thankfully you can zip them. As other people said - sleeves are a bit short while riding, but are perfectly OK when you get out of bike. I guess it can be fixed it with proper gloves. Overall - excellent look, excellent wind and rain protection with great breathability, some details could be improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful jacket I bought this jacket online based solely on my previous experience with Rapha products and their extremely high quality. The jacket is beautiful. It has a minimalist appearance but exudes quiet cool. The fabric has a nice hand and drapes well. The size guide is accurate-I am a medium in Rapha and bought the jacket in M and the fit was perfect. I bought this as a fashion piece more so than as a commuter jacket. I was happy to discover it works well for both. The colour is a non-threatening navy-nice and understated in keeping with the general aesthete of the jacket. The pockets are in the right places and are very functional. The high collar is a nice touch and stays up when popped even without fastening the collar widget which was a little clumsy to operate at first but improved with use. The only detail I would have added would be to place a Rapha logo on the underside of the collar which would be visible only with the collar up-doesn't hurt to let people know because they're gonna ask anyway!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well-cut and showerproof wind jacket Supremely well-cut and windproof jacket that is surprisingly water-resistant too. The length is sufficient to cover an un-tucked Rapha polo or oxford shirt, and the fabric feels durable and of a good quality. The details (collar closure tab; reflective collar detail) are understated but welcome. Pocket capacity is good and the pockets are well-placed. The fit works well on the bike but the sleeves aren't so long as to look odd when worn off the bike. A new favourite jacket - any chance of a black or charcoal version?

I am interested in Wool Wind Jacket, but not sure which size to choose. Is the cutting of this jacket a slim fit one? I have the Pack Jacket which I wear the medium size. Not sure if I should choose the same size.

Asked by: Oldjac
Hi, please refer to our size guide for a more accurate measurement. With the information provided, we would recommend to try a medium. We do have a 90 days return period should you wish to change size.
