Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good to wear in the beginning and end of a ride I bought this to protect my neck during long rides in Scotland. It is warm and keep clean. It feels good over the mouth if needed. But I rarely use it that way because I don't get that cold and it makes my glasses go fogy. good stuff. The wine/red colour is fantastic. So classy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, elegant and effective Got 3 of these now as I find myself wearing one almost every day during the cold months whther cycling or not. The ability to have it round the neck as a light scarf or pulled up over the mouth and nose to give a bit of winter protection is really good It is shaped well and the material is just the right weight and elasticity to make it work well both ways.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight But Nice and Warm Even though I have a Rapha Merino Winter Base Layer which has a long neck you can pull up over your face I tend to leave the neck down as normal and wear the Winter Collar instead Being 93% Merino Wool it is lovely and warm and you don't know you are wearing it The bit I hate though is when I take it off.... chilly !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A winter staple A truly versatile product - keeps the neck warm, and can then be pulled up according to conditions to cover chin, mouth and nose - ideal for those frosty morning rides and chilly descents. The merino is super soft and just the right weight to assure warmth but to also allow you to comfortably breath through the fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I am commuting ~16 miles in temps 25-35ºF, and having to wear glasses means that traditional balaclavas are not an option. This collar paired with a warm cycling hat is perfect! Thin, breathable and warm – this collar ideal for winter commuting and well worth the money. Below 25ºF, I'd go for the deep winter collar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for those chilly morning starts I bought this help the commute more comfortable. Now here is something where Rapha has sat down and said, 'how can make this work?'. Intially I thought it was too thin, but it's just perfect. It keeps my ears and chin warm and I can pull it up up my head if needs be. The way you can wear this is endless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed This neck gaiter (collar) is the perfect accessory for cold days in the pacific northwest. I wear it loosely under the chin, but it can be easily pulled up to cover more of the face. I would not go heavier weight for our climate, but imagine colder parts of the world might like the deep winter option.

Which blue most closely matches the navy of the classic jersey? Navy or Dark navy?

Asked by: Jimmr
Hi, both colours would work well with the navy Classic Jersey II, but the navy Winter Collar is a closer match.
