Casual wear with a nod to the 80s
Inspired by the kit the Colombian team wore throughout their breakthrough 1987 season, the T-shirt features a vintage-feel cotton, authentic fit, and the motto ‘Rey De Las Montañas’ across the chest to celebrate Lucho Herrera’s Vuelta success.
The 1987 season was a major moment for Colombian cycling with Herrera first winning the Vuelta, along with its mountains competition. He went on to win the polka dot jersey at the Tour de France. The Colombian trade team competed in kit inspired by the Colombian flag, decorated with the peaks of a famously mountainous nation. Our limited edition Colombia T-shirt shares those colours and illustration, and is finished with the words Rey De Las Montañas – King of the Mountains – as a final nod to Herrera’s success.
