Durable winter tights for visibility and endurance

Designed for winter riding, these hard-working, durable tights offer maximum comfort and insulation in cold conditions. A soft, brushed fleece lining traps warm air to insulate your legs, while flatlock stitching helps to prevent chafing. A DWR (durable water repellent) coating repels water, and reflective Brevet stripes at the ankle and reflective inserts in the rear seams increase visibility in low light. The chamois dries much more quickly than our standard pad, for comfort on multi-day adventures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and great fit I bought these for winter based on my appreciation of the brevet bib shorts. I haven't been disappointed so far. They fit very well and the pad is very comfortable just like the bibshorts. I've only worn them four times so far so I can't comment on durability but if anything like my other Rapha products, they'll be fine. I've worn once in the rain and they do prevent getting wet when it's light but nothing keeps you dry when it buckets down. Nevertheless they kept me warm and I was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit I've worn these a few times since buying, ridden at 3C and they kept me warm and the pad is great (similar to the classic shorts). The one downside is the reflective stripes at the ankle, I think they are too far down as most of the time I will be wearing overshoes with these and they are hidden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tights!!!! Even in a crash... Had them a few weeks used 3 times, crashed and now going to see if the crash/repair policy is what Rapha claims it to be. Have spent loads with Rapha, but never had to use crash service....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter gear. Just had the first occasion to try the Brevet winter bibs, freezing fog with temp about minus 2c. No problems with getting cold legs at all and the pad was very comfortable. I've suffered before in the delicate areas and have used a pair of cycling underpants with a wind proof panel in the front,I didn't need this with the Brevets. My legs are quite chunky and even though I'm 5' 9 with 34 waist I had to return the large and go for XXL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brevet Winter Tights Win! Just bought a pair of these and was somewhat cautious given the price. But they are outstanding and so much more comfortable than my previous Gore pair. Well worth it!

Hi how do these compare vs. Classic Winter Tights (no pad) combined with Classic Thermal Bib shorts?

Asked by: fuad
Hi, the Brevet Winter Tights with Pad are warmer than the Classic Winter Tights but the area covered with both the Classic Thermal Bib Shorts and Classic Winter Tights will be as warm, if not warmer than Brevet Winter Tights with Pad.

Do you recommend that these tights be worn over bib shorts or instead of bib shorts? With the pad being sewn in it would appear they should be instead of bib shorts?

Asked by: JWSS
Hi, these tights have an in-built pad and should be worn instead of bib shorts.

Hi, are those tighter in the low leg area than the one piece thermal suit? Do you recommend same sizing as usual? Thanks and have a great day

Asked by: JYC74
Hi, these tights have a similar fit in the low leg area. Both have a close fit through the leg. We recommend the same sizing as normal. As always we do have a free 90 day returns policy if needed.

How would you compare these in thickness and warmth compared to the Classic Winter Tights and the Pro Team Winter Tights?

Asked by: perik
Hi, these tights are slightly thicker and warmer than the Classic Winter Tights or the Pro Team Winter Tights. They fall somewhere between these and the Deep Winter Tights.

Do these tights have any windproof panels/areas and is the DWR treatment all over, including the rear pad area?

Asked by: Embles
Hi, the tights are made from one fabric (including the rear pad area) and it has a DWR and antibacterial treatment. They do not have any wind proofing as the main function is to insulate and keep you warm.

What are the recommended tempeture ranges for these winter tights?

Asked by: Zjkessler
Hi, it is hard to advise an exact range as it will depend on your own temperature regulation and exertion level. However, these tights can be used in conditions from zero or slightly below, up to 9/10 degrees celsius.
