Further Festivity

There has been a flurry of fantastic entries to the Rapha Festive 500. We’ve had the pleasure of looking through great photography, video, writing, Garmin data (yawn) and even illustrations to compile our winners shortlist for the top three podium spots. Before we announce the winners on Friday, here are some more highlights of the week. Don't forget to check out the Facebook page as well. (Click on the images to link through to blogs and Flickr.)
Top prize is a Deep Winter Training Bundle, second prize a Hope Tech light and third place wins a 2010 Rouleur Annual.

Congrats to all. While circumstances precluded me from getting the full 500km done within the timeframe of the contest, this did help spur me to clock over 600km (and counting) between Xmas eve and today. I will look out for this again next year.

Great and still very inspiring!
The challenge was between the 23rd and the 30th of December, but a week later there is still that pinkish afterglow!

Damn you, Bjarte! While I was indoors eating meat and marsipan, drinking only alchoholic beverages and complaining about the weak xc skiing conditions, you were out riding. No wonder Google Translate thinks you should be called "Woody": http://is.gd/kdt6n

Basically I'm just full of excuses. I didn't manage the 500 because I've been concentrating on a Top 8 at this weekend National Cyclo Cross Trophy. is that legit? Is that just weak?
