Rated 5 de 5 de par Perfect Winter Jersey Been on 2 rides so far with just a mesh base layer in temperatures between 5 and 12C. On the cooler ride I was really comfortable and when it warmed up a bit there are 2 vents either side of the chest which were easy to open and close with gloves on. I also really like the pocket options with a large zip across the back to pack away my waterproof, leaving 2 large pockets for food etc and there is also a small zip pocket for keys/valuables. Definitely going to be my go to jersey/jacket for the winter.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Jacket not a jersey. Bring on the winter! Bought this in preparation for the UK winter, which hasn't quite arrived yet in October, but already I can say this is going to be a great product. Importantly for those looking at purchasing this (or a new winter jacket) I think the jersey labeling is a bit misleading - this product has the feel of a jacket and will easily go over bib shorts, base layer and a standard jersey (I've tried, and am an XL btw)

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great fit Very good fit for me and comfortable. Arms are slightly long but not an issue as i can fold in the cuffs abit and that doesn't look weird. Nice and comfortable and feels warm as the weather is getting a little bit colder now. Always happy with my purchases and this is no different. Would have been nice to have the logo on the collars, maybe pink. Also pink piping on the bottom of the top. I like the pink. :)

Rated 4 de 5 de par Luxury Winter Jersey Worn once so far and it worked well on a gentle ride at below 5 degC coupled with a medium weight long sleeve base layer. Fabric has a heavy luxurious feel, accentuated by the colour, slightly fleecy inner lining and glossy finish. Fit (medium, 5ft 9", 70kg) is slightly closer than I anticipated. It feels a bit tighter across the shoulders than my Brevet jersey but this could be due to the weight of the material (or is perhaps something to do with the windproof liner) but once on the bike it felt fine. Overall I'm very happy with the item.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Really warm and stylish winter jersey I have worn this at about 5 degrees celsius on early morning rides in the UK this autumn. I had a Rapha long sleeve merino base layer underneath and I was totally comfortable ion the conditions. I think you could easily wear this at temperatures of around freezing. It isn't waterproof so you will need to bear this in mind if thats what you need, but for dry cold days this is perfect. I wouldn't recommend it for temperatures above 10C / 50F as you would possibly get too hot, although there are zippable vents at the front to provide some cooling for changeable conditions.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Buttertubs @ zero Bought for chilly winter days... put to the test when temperatures dropped to Zero in the Dales.. The jersey was worn with a 160g merino base and feeling the nip I also had an jacket on but once warmed up had to remove. Which folded flat and fit great in the larger zip pocket. The jersey kept my torso cosy on long fast rolling decents in which i had to work to keep speeds up over 60kph with temps down to Zero. Dropping the zips on the climbs to stay cool.. I run the large short sleeve club jersey and xl pro jersey.. I'm 6.1 i ordered both large and xl I kept the large as felt it was a better race fit but not restricted. I have track rider build with slim waste. Xl would have been good if like more relaxed ride..

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great jacket I'm 6..4 and 175 lbs, jersey fits pretty well in body, sleeves perfect length, body could be longer and seems to ride up and continually have to pull down, if it was a little fitter around the body or maybe gusseted at arm/ shoulder area so your arms don't push it up. Super comfortable temp wise and was great going from cool to warm temps or up and down hills. Vents are perfectly placed. Just used in Portland area for first try out and had 25 degrees temp variance

Rated 4 de 5 de par Brilliant but a bit biscuit crumbs in the bed. I love this jersey, but I'd love it to be better. Its warm, it cuts out the wind, the sleeves are plenty long enough, it has reflective elements, its Rapha. But the cut is a little ... odd! Its very roomy from the armpits upward but short from the armpits down which is where you need it in the colder weather, there isn't any gripper but there is a draw-string. All this means it rides up slightly and doesn't help access to the rear pockets. I'm 6ft3, 12.5 stone, I tried the M and went with the L but it could be longer on the back. All that said on the two rides I've had in 2/3 degrees its been brilliant. I just need to train myself out of the nervous twitch I've developed - not to constantly keep pulling it down. Note to Rapha staff - is there anything I can do /adjust to help remedy with this?

Is the windproofing more significant than the previous winter jersey, I find my previous jersey great but need a gillet when it's windy

Posée par: Jamesk
Hi, the windproofing is more significant than the previous winter jersey, and the fabric a slightly heavier weight.

What are the intended base layers for this to be worn with? Would the Merino Base Layer be sufficient at zero degrees?

Posée par: Scott Bolton
Hi, this jersey could be worn with any of our base layers, acting to extend the temperature range in which you could wear the jersey. It will always depend on your own temperature regulation and exertion level but a regular Long Sleeve Merino Base Layer should work well at zero degrees celsius.

What is better for 20-30F rides? Pro Team Training Jacket or this one? I'm 5'11 and 155 lb, I guess M would fit me?

Posée par: Gerdvd
Hi, for these temperatures you would be better with the Winter Windproof Jersey. The Pro Team Training Jacket is fantastic but would likely be too cold below 25F. A medium may work well but It is difficult to accurately advise size without measurements. It would be best to refer to the sizing guide.

This jersey in black/medium appears to be tighter and a bit uncomfortable than the one i had in purple/medium which was excellent in terms of fit. Is there any difference at all in size among the jerseys with different color?

Posée par: Limbu
Hi, there should be no difference in fit for different colours of the same jersey.

Does the wind proofing go down the arms to?

Posée par: cyclingranger1
Hi, the jersey has an inside layer of windproof fabric on the centre front body panels. There is no additional wind proof layer on the sleeves.

Compared to the Brevet Windblock Jersey, which one would be better for cooler temperatures?

Posée par: Darren C
Hi, the Winter Windproof Jersey would be better for cold temperatures. This jersey can be worn down to very low temperatures.
