Sizing Guide

Sizes range between Small to Extra Large. Above is a guide for UK, US, EU and Japanese measurements.

Rated 5 de 5 par de Toasty warm I haven't yet had the opportunity to try these in the rain or snow so I can't speak to the waterproof claims, but with on the last 2 rides (50km and 75 km) in temps below 6 Celsius my feet were not remotely cold even once. In fact, they were borderline too warm, but I blame that on the thicker winter DeFeet socks I wore as a precaution. I can see these being great into much colder temperatures with the same socks. They're snug-fitting, as they should be, so it takes a small bit of fussing to get them on and off, but not an unreasonable amount. They seem well-constructed and sturdy—I'm hoping to get a few years' good use from them. They're not the cheapest overshoe out there, but I don't regret the extra spent one bit.

Rated 3 de 5 par de Nice insulation, poor cut After reading all reviews, I ordered a size M for a pair of S-Works road shoes (size 42). However, I still spent 20 minutes to put on for the first time. Really strange cut around the cleats, especially for my time xpresso. You may tell from the third photo of the product how strange the hole position is. It took a lot of efforts to pull sole over the cleat, and made me sweat more than ride at 40kph.

Rated 4 de 5 par de You can't miss me on the road! I absolutely love the colour, and my feet are always warm. I have received many compliments and I would highly recommend. I have size 6 sidi shoes and the small fits like a glove over top. My only (slight) issue, is that I'm 5'1 and the zippers on these booties do not zip all the way to the top for me because my calves are quite large and seem to end where the booties start because I am so short. I imagine if you're taller and/or have smaller ankles, it shouldn't be an issue. Even with the zippers not quite closing, there is a black velcro strap at the top that secures them in place, so they're truly excellent.

Rated 4 de 5 par de Usual excellent Rapha quality Bought for me as a birthday present to replace a pair of long worn out neoprene overshoes. These are different in that they dont claim to be waterproof, but instead are very close fitting booties that will keep your feet insulated once water works its way in - which it does with all overshoes, I know, I've worn loads out and none of them are truly waterproof (bit hard with holes in the bottom and a big hole in the top!)...anyway these overshoes are well made, very tight fitting and so far so good. Only minor gripe is I feel the velcro fastener around the ankle could be tighter.

Rated 3 de 5 par de Good warmth I have ridden in these now for about 250 kms. Good warmth. Good rain protection. Fit however was not quite what I was looking for. They are too 'baggy' around the ankle, and I worry the soles will wear out much faster than my previous overshoes. Overall, good warmth, fit not what I have come to expect from rapha gear.

Rated 3 de 5 par de Strange fit / sizing Kinda disappointed. Love my Rapha gear but found the sizing strange. Worn once....Tight with little clearance around my cleats but loose around the ankles and walked on material around the heels. Kept the water out on a wet ride.

Rated 4 de 5 par de Seem pretty good. I initially bought the large and found there was no way these would fit size 44 Bont Vaypor+. I've since exchanged for XL which fit over the shoes. There's a little bunching around the speedplay cleats but it doesn't foul the mechanism, or sit proud of the cleat and scuff against the floor when off the bike. I've docked one star because the cuff at the top is loose around my spindly legs. My ideal fit would be a stretchier version of the Large. But - I'm happy with them. Warm and enough waterproofing to hold off some spray. Build quality seems very good.

Rated 4 de 5 par de Solid, great visibility, 3rd generation but.. This is the 3rd version of the overshoes that I own. The improved sole is clearly an advantage and the bright pink colour provides great visibility in low-light/early morning. This is the main reason I bought the product and I'm happy for this reason. The top of the overshoes could be improved to be more flexible/tighter against the shin. I found water comes in at the top. I washed them after the first wear ( a very wet christening!) and they came out reasonably clean. Not perfect but easy to wash with my other cycling kit

Hi Rapha I was wondering if the overshoes are designed to go over winter boots aswell as shoes??

Posée par: Coldfeet Kurt
Hi, it will depend on how bulky the winter shoes are but you may need to size up if you'd like to do this. I hope that helps.

Hi Rapha. I just bought the reflective oversocks but they are extremely hard to get on and off and not quite what I'm looking for. I would like to try the overshoes but unsure of size. My Shimano shoes are size 39.

Posée par: Miss_Andrea
Hi, we would recommend you try a Medium in the Overshoes. Also, the Oversocks should loosen up over time.

Is the size guide in men's shoe sizes? I am a women's shoe size 7-7.5 and not sure which size to get.

Posée par: RGny
Hi, if you are a 7/7.5 a size Medium should be suitable. We do have a free 90 day returns period should you need to exchange.

I'm a size 8. Don't get the medium-6-8 or the large 8-11?

Posée par: MarcF
Hi, we would suggest the size 6-8, medium, for you. We do have a free 90 day return period should you need to exchange.

I recently purchased these for the winter riding in So Cal, however I have a question on fitting.  I have the L which fit fine over my shoes, however the ankle/lower calf fit is much too big.  Is this normal?

Posée par: Christopher M C
Hi, as we all differ in shape and form there can be some difference in fit around the calf and ankle meaning the fit can seem loose, or in fact tight on some individuals. Our sizing is based on a 'sweet spot' which will hopefully accommodate all sizes to a degree.

I'm size 11 shoes. Normally would use XL overshoes. Should I go XL in these or L? (your size guide says 8-11 L then 11+ XL)

Posée par: simonfromdudley
Hi, we would suggest purchasing the XL as per the sizing guide. We do have a free 90 days exchange period should they not fit.

I have a pair of those overshoes & love them for our cold weather here in Canada.I just noticed the deep winter version. They look so similar on pictures and the price is only $5 more. What are the differences ? Do they both have the 3 ply layer ?

Posée par: OliM
Hi, The Rapha Deep Winter Overshoes have been specially created for very cold and wet riding conditions. The shoes are made from an extremely durable, three-ply fabric comprised of a woven face fabric, a waterproof breathable membrane and a fleece backing for warmth whereas Rapha's 'regular' overshoes are made from 100% neoprene.

Hi folks, very pleased with my pink booties. Any tips on best way of removing chain ring oil marks though? Thank you

Posée par: Nick K
Hi. We do not have any formal method for removing chain oil sadly. Such substances are incredibly hard to remove without damaging the the material.
