The life of a racing pioneer
"It never gets easier, you just go faster."
Being a three-time Tour de France winner is only half of the Greg LeMond story. Equally at home on the cobbles of the spring classics as he was on the mountains of the Grand Tours, the American’s never-say-die attitude and pioneering attitude to kit, tactics, and training helped him to a hatful of podiums and medals.
In Greg LeMond: Yellow Jersey Racer, Guy Andrews documents many of Greg’s big wins with unique and exclusive photography depicting the racing times of this exceptional bike rider. The book also features contributions from many of Greg’s rivals, team mates and friends, who spoke candidly about his career, how their lives crossed and his legacy in the sport of cycling.
Produced in collaboration with Greg LeMond, the book is beautifully designed and produced, and has a special edition Rapha dust cover. This is no ordinary cycling biography but a rich behind-the-scenes look at one of the most exciting period in cycling racing’s history.
