High-performance cycling accessory made from soft merino wool

Made from a fabric developed exclusively by Rapha, these high-performance arm warmers combine the natural performance properties of merino wool with a degree of Lycra for stretch and durability. They provide insulation, are highly breathable and also transfer moisture effectively. The fabric is quick-drying so the arm warmers can be used in a variety of conditions. They are versatile enough for city riding and work brilliantly when paired with any short-sleeved Rapha jersey.

Reviews:

As you’ll know if you own any Rapha wool clothing, they use only sheep that are washed and conditioned every morning, groomed twice daily and fed on a diet of nourishing, green-leafed vegetables. All the while, the sheep are watching newsreels of epic Tour de France stages from the 1950s.
And that is all absolutely true, which is why the wool is incredibly soft and fine and suitable for cycling. It really does feel great against your skin. No prickliness, no itchiness, no scratchiness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Essential item, luxurious necessity. One of the best piece of bike kit I have ever owned. Warm, light, packs down tiny, warm when wet. Takes the sting out of fresh sping morning rides. Short sleeve pro team jersey, merino arms and a gillet and you are ready for anything spring thru fall. Have been a godsend to have in my race bag on cold race day mornings, cold, wet Ironman UK these kept me going. Really cold IM Lanzarote start had these on for the first hour in the rain, then off they come when the sun rises. Brilliant when teamed with the knee warmers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Weight Warmers My comments apply to the knee and arm warmers equally. They are both excellent. I am in Southern California, so warmers are used only a small portion of the year, but I find these to be perfect when the conditions call for more clothes. They are comfortable, warm and high quality (as you would expect). Often with arm and knee warmers, I find myself stripping them off part way through a ride as they start to feel too hot, but these I keep in place for the duration of my rides--neither too hot nor too cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I have long arms but skinny. 6ft/70kg/30"waist/37'chest and have always struggled to get arm warmers to be long enough and tight enough. However these are the best by a mile in that department and it doesn't stop there, incredibly warm and when it heats up they weirdly keep you cool. The sizing is spot on refer to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality but run small At 6'-0", 150 lb., thin build, I ordered these and the matching merino leg warmers both in Medium. The leg warmers fit perfectly, but the arm warmers are a bit too tight, and I'm exchanging them for Large. Otherwise, another excellent Rapha product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light and Tight These are a bit on the thin side for my taste. And they run very small -- I'm a M jersey and had to return the M warmers for L (I have decent guns but nothing extreme!).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like! I bought these because it's a bit chilly here in SoCal this winter. But not quite cold enough for standard fleece-lined lycra knee/arm warmers. I haven't used a wool arm/knee warmers for a long time. When I did, I used Swobo. (I still have them but the rubber grippers have melted.) At first, I thought these were on the thin side (Swobos are thicker.), but once on the bike, they were perfect. They fit well (Better than other Rapha arm warmers,w which are generally too tight.), stay in place and kept me warm without making me overheat. I do have some concern about how long they will last, hence the Good rating. But since I wash my arm/knee warmers less often than other gear, I suspect they will do okay. Other wool kit I have from Rapha (socks in particular), seems to wear rather quickly. Overall, these are quite nice, really good quality and attention to detail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from versatile trans seasonal warmers These are the second pair of Rapha Merino arm warmers I have purchased after wearing out the last pair. I also use the Rapha merino knee warmers which get me through most of Melbourne's winter. The merino is an excellent alternative to Roubaix fleece warmers, being slightly lighter to wear and more breathable - which means I can wear them in spring and early autumn without overheating. I highly recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product & Excellent Customer Service! This is the first set of arm warmers I have ever tried, and also the first time I have purchased a Rapha product. First of all, why I have not tried arm warmers after years of early morning rides? I am a huge fan of merino wool, and I was immediately was impressed with how warm this product kept me, and I really liked the added warmth without having to wear a jacket. I have to bring attention to how helpful and friendly Raph's customer service is. I had no idea what size I needed in arm warmers, and I of course ordered the wrong size..... twice! Jordan at Rapha was awesome and sent out the new size I requested, and returning and exchanging couldn't be any either too. Arm warmers came with a return shipping label every time. Finally, I got to the correct size (Size for the circumference of your arm, not just the length!). Looking forward to purchasing quality products from Rapha in the future.

Would the blue colour match the navy blue club jersey and navy brevet jersey?

Asked by: Muffintop
Hi, while the colours will not be an exact match due to the different fabrics used they can be worn with the club and brevet jersey. We do have a free 90 return period should you feel they are not suitable.
