The fit is super slim below the knees and has enough room around the thighs to that it doesn't look like you are wearing yoga pants! Really nice trim look, while I have only ridden in light rain once, they did a good job beading the water and keeping me warm. The material does have a slight "technical" look to it - so likely not something that you could commute in then transition into a professional environment (but that is subjective). The only negative comment I have is the elasticized waist band. It works and allows the trouser to be pretty flexible for people hovering between sizes; but if you tuck a shirt into the waistband - it looks like you are wearing joggers...even with a belt - you can still see the elastic band bunching - which means you are really restricted to sweaters and un-tucked shirts.

Rated 5 de 5 por de The best commuter pants I've ever purchased. Cons: the color (black, in my case) isn't rich or deep. Looks washed out, like it has gone through the machine many, many times. Pros: everything else. A fantastic pair of pants, er, trousers.

Rated 5 de 5 por de Loopback trousers Excellent! An instant classic. I've worn it in the rain only once but the results are fantastic. The rain water just runs off! A great stretchy fabric that does not restrict movement... Thank you Rapha.

Rated 4 de 5 por de Great quality but watch the fit Although billed as trousers, these are more like mens' jeggings. If you have thighs or calves worthy of the name, then these will be form fitting to say the least. They are very comfortable, and look to be hard wearing, but I could not wear them in an office environment. They are simply too casual. And the cut is low in the crotch, as is the current fashion, which makes them doubly so. On the bike they work very well indeed, affording complete freedom of movement and some weather protection. If you are a programmer or a back-of-house worker they will maybe function as work wear. But for office dwellers, keep them for slouching about at home or the odd casual excursion on weekends.

Rated 4 de 5 por de Love the fabric I am pleased with these trousers. I was a little concerned about the "tapered fit" but really they are not very different from slim fit trousers. The color is supposed to be dark gray but in fact is a medium gray. It's a nice color. I like the strechiness of the fabric and it is quite good in the rain -- they aren't waterproof but the water does bead up well, and the fabric dries quickly. It's a medium weight fabric that's fine in mild weather. The elastic waistband is kind of weird. You can wear a belt to hide it...I wouldn't wear these without a belt. Order a size down in the waist.

Rated 4 de 5 por de Functional, well-made and stylish. I haven't worn these when cycling yet but the stretch and water repellency of the fabric suggests that they will be up to the job. I agree with the reviewer who said that the elasticated waist may not go so well with a tucked-in shirt. I have a circa 30 to 32" waist with 30" inside leg and the 30 Small is a good fit. They make a good pair of travel trousers!

Rated 5 de 5 por de Nice pants! This is my third week of living in these pants and they disappear underneath, both at home and in the office. I have four Rapha riding trousers (the ones with the stretchy-but-scratchy fabric), and these are superior because they stretch a bit more and drape nicer. The new material, although thinner, is still as windproof and breathable, so they are good technical riding pants. No one will mistake these for real dress pants, but they work really well for the casual dress code typical of SF bay area offices. Still unknown: durability. I am glad to have gotten the ones with the wider legs (not the slim fit) as I can't imagine any "real cyclist" fitting into narrower pant legs. Maybe if I were after the yoga pants look... :)

Rated 5 de 5 por de Excellent casual attire Comfortable and stylish pants. If your waist size is between two numbers, try the smaller size since the fabric has enough elasticity and give.

Can I get the specifics of the fabric content? I see it is Pertex fabric but I don't know what that is made of. Any help with that? Thanks.

Preguntado por: Library Man
Hi, Pertex is made primarily of nylon, with the remaining content a mix of elastane and polyurethane.

Im a size 30 in Randonee Shorts and Rapha Jeans, should I size down? and also, what is the point of variable lenght, is it for a more elegant look?

Preguntado por: JPsr
Hi. We do suggest to size down from your regular sizing with the Loopback Trousers. The variable length is to accommodate those who have a longer or shorter leg lengths but the same size waist. We do have a free 90 days return period in order to exchange items if needed.
