Iconic functionality redefined

The definitive cycling jeans. With a straight-leg fit, this specialist denim is made from nylon, cotton and Elastane yarns. A proprietary fabric milled in Italy, it is hardwearing, stain resistant and fast-drying. More abrasion-resistant than regular denim, the stretch in the yarns also allows for ease of movement. There are offset inseams to prevent chafing and a reflective Rapha logo inside the right leg is displayed when rolled up.

Reviews:

These jeans simply stand up better to, and fit more comfortably during, the rigors of cycling than regular clothing. After two months of near-daily wear—hey, I grew attached not only to the quality of these jeans but the style as well—I’m pleased to report zero visible abrasion in the rear. Try getting the same results out of your Levi's or Luckys.
Craig Randall, The Active Times

But the thing is, it is hard to beat them: love them or hate them, there is no denying that their products are more often than not market leaders in terms of quality, proving that age-old adage that you get what you pay for.
Kevin McCreeth, The Telegraph

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not really made for cyclists After wearing regular skinny jeans for a couple of years to ride to work, I thought I might splash out on some 'cyclist specific' jeans but I soon realised that there is a disparity between suitability and marketing. The upper leg is too tight and the lower leg is far too loose and flaps around unless it rolled up. The material needs far more elasticity to be comfortable even for short distances. I'll see if these become more comfortable after a couple of washes, otherwise I'll go back to buying cheaper, more suitable skinny jeans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice jeans, quite heavy, shame about sizing Not the first time I've bought these jeans but the only ones I've kept due to the sizing which is way bigger than then fitting guidance leads you to believe. Anyway, now I have (sort of) the correct size, at least they don't fall down. Not done much cycling in them yet but they're comfy and look good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprise fit I always used to think I had chicken legs. Over the years I'd come to terms with that and grown very comfortable with their ability to eat up the miles. Even hand out a little hurt when the road tipped towards the sky and friends started getting dropped. But I may be forced to reconsider that position, because these jeans are too tight in the thigh. They're very nicely made and it's a shame to return them, but they simply don't fit so back they must go. I'll have to keep my eye out for the Sprinter's Jeans becoming available again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fancy pants I bought these a few weeks ago. Overall I like them a lot . They fit me a little snug compared to the sprinter jeans I bought a year ago (those are a looser fit), but I have larger quads then normal (male 5'10", 190lbs,10% body fat). The jeans are very high quality, and also very formal looking for jeans. They go over great with a button down on a casual Friday at work. Also very comfortable. I would deff recommend them to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jeans I've ever had Tight at first, but after few uses I'm confident to say they are the best jeans I've ever had. Been using them A LOT for a couple of months, on and off bike, and they still show no sign of wear. Great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loves these so much I bought another! These jeans are my favourite piece of clothing. They are virtually bombproof and have taken all of the punishment that my daily commute and general cycling has thrown at them. My only complaint was that the colour versions of these jeans were not available in a "long" cut. I would have bought a pair in every colour had they been.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the style I really love the look of these jeans. The dark blue denim is great, and so are the all-blacks. The FEEL on the other hand takes a bit of getting used to. They are incredibly stiff, and take a bit of time to break in. Not a big deal, but feel like a starched shirt for the first 4 or 5 wearings. They also have a little pink rubber ring around the waist which is a great feature for commuting to stop your shirt from coming untucked (I think?) but can feel a bit odd/take a bit of getting used to. Overall, great jeans.

With regular 100% cotton jeans there is a natural give in the fabric during the first period of wear. Typically 1-2 cm lateral increase with wear and softens. What should I expect with this nylon blend? Will it loosen/ soften? Should I buy tighter?

Asked by: Rooo
Hi, these jeans will give to a similar extent as 100% cotton jeans. We would recommend you buy the same size as you normally wear in other jeans.
