Lightweight arm protection for hot days or cool descents.

Sometimes covering up can be cooler than leaving your skin exposed: Rapha Arm Screens are designed to protect a rider’s arms on hot, sunny rides.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Practically perfect Very happy!! First time using "sun arms" I was concerned they may be too hot in summer. They were perfect and no longer needed to worry about sunscreen and reapplying. They provided perfect protection and coverage and took the bite out of our harsh Queensland sun. Wonder if size smaller (from M down to S) would have been better as seemed excess length but perfect firm fitting and the extra length meant full coverage between glove to wrist and no dorky jersey gap. The grip around the upper arm to avoid slippage is NOT latex/rubber like my winter arms so these provided superior comfort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good screens but run large I bought these to go with a super lightweight jersey and they went really well, the only issue I have is with the sizing. I bought these as lighter versions of the merino arm warmers, and in the same size (large) but these are far more generous. I would exchange them for mediums if I hadn't bought them so close to an event and been unable to do so. Despite this, they performed really well on the early starts for a 3 day event and I'd recommend them for warmer rides with a lightweight jersey. They kept the breeze and sun off without overheating or leaving me too cold - just keeping the colder morning air off my skin was enough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super comfy, but not tough enough I love these arm screens but they are not durable enough. This is the 3rd pair I have bought in 2 years. They keep splitting at the seems even though I am very careful to treat them well. I buy a heap of Rapha products every year and the arm screens are the only product I have every encountered questionable quality with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Warm I'm old and becoming a light weight in cold weather. Living on the coast it even gets cold in the summer, and sometimes you need a little more protection. I already have the fleece lined version, but these are a little much for any riding outside of the deepest winter. These screens are perfect even in some of the coolest days, they also take up much less room in your pockets. I'm genuinely surprised how something so thin can keep you so warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At last, arm warmers that stay up! I've got long, but thin arms so sleeves/screens/warmers often slide down and are a source of annoyance. Pleased to report these fellas stay up. They're a good length so there is plenty of sleeve overlap which also helps. They do a great job of keeping your arms covered without heating up and you can pretty much forget you're wearing them. It's a shame that you can't get matching non-thermal UV protective leg sleeves too. I burn at the drop of a hat so these will be invaluable instead of packing cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job on a ride from Adelaide to Darwin I used these screens on a ride from Adelaide to Darwin in full sun and temps up to 43C. Kept my arms free from sunburn and weren't too hot to ride in. Usual impeccable Rapha quality. Only wish there is the option of buying them in singles as I've now lost one in the wash. I rate them 5 star for performance and style but the buttons would only let me give 3 stars for some reason

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally - black arm screens I have gone through three pairs of white arm screens that are too stretched out or stained to use anymore. These Rapha screens seem to be as breathable as any other, the elastic is great and they stay up and down, they are long enough i don't get burned down by my wrist like some others, and the black color is great for not showing stains and dirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfortable and they stay in place I bought 2 pairs, one in pink and the other in white. The pink color really stands out, and goes particularly well with any kit with pink accents. I'm 5 feet 10 inches tall, 158 pounds, and my arms are not particularly muscular -- unlike other brands that only have elastic at the very top and tend to slip down, these sleeves in a medium size seem to stretch a bit throughout and stay up very well. They also are long enough to easily come down to the wrist for full coverage. I live in Southern California with a lot of sun, and these sun screens are the very best!

Do the Navy ones watch the brevet jersey?

Asked by: Boaty McBoatface
Hi, while not an exact match due to the different fabrics used the blue arm screen will compliment the blue Brevet jersey.
