Full-length, fleece-lined tights with chamois pad designed for winter riding.

Women's Padded TightsDKK1,550.00

Please select an item above

Soft, fleece-lined legwear for when the temperature drops

With exceptional warmth and stretch, these fleece-lined, high-waisted padded tights are made from quick-drying ThermoRoubaix® fabric that cocoons your legs, trapping warm air next to the skin. The dense knit of the tights helps water roll off the surface, adding an element of weather resistance, and the women's Cytech chamois pad is breathable and supremely comfortable. Like the Rapha Classic Shorts, the front panel of the tights is doubled over rather than stitched, to prevent chafing when you ride. A high-cut waist keeps your core warm and is held in place with a soft, silicone gripper.

FEATURES

  • High-rise waist for core insulation
  • Doubled over front panel to prevent chafing and rubbing
  • Fast-drying ThermoRoubaix® fabric that insulates and repels water to keep you warm and dry
  • Rear zip pocket to keep valuables secure

FABRIC

Main:

  • 45% nylon
  • 42% polyester
  • 13% elastane
Back panel:
  • 85% nylon
  • 15% elastane

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Machine wash cool 30C
  • Do not soak
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not dry clean
  • Do not iron

Body sizing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit I bought these a few weeks ago for winter riding. They're excellent. Warm but not too warm. Super comfortable. I was a little worried they might creep down without the bib straps, but they don't! Highly recommend if you want tights without the hassle of bibs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving these tights! Bought these tights to get me through the winter months. Trailed on a cool mornings ride and they didn't disappoint. Warm, comfy and the most impressive feature is the high waist and back. I bought a small and they are a tad tight but i'm hoping they give way after a coulee of washes. (I wear both small and med in rapha depending on style - could have gone a med in these).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cold Weather Tights I've Ever Had I actually couldn't wait to write this review, because these tights are BY FAR the best winter tights I've ever ridden in. They stay in place, keep my legs warm, and I was blown away at how comfortable the shammy was! It was so comfortable, that it didn't occur to me that I had forgotten shammy cream until I was 15 miles into a 20mi mountain bike ride. I just bought the regular 3/4 tights for the rest of the year as am ditching my Assos tights because the shammy is just THAT good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfy and warm Wore these on a nasty wet windy day. The inside fleece is more like velour, which is comfortable and soft and seems to dry pretty quickly. Overall the fabric keeps out some wind but does absolutely nothing to keep you dry. It doesn't claim to, to be fair! The waistband is very high at the back and very comfortable. I'm not sure about the need for a zip pocket on the back of the tights, as jerseys have pockets anyway and as these are padded, you wouldn't run in them. I wasn't sure about the grey - tbh bought those as they were the only colour available in my size. It's actually fine - black mud dries to grey anyway. The only thing is the side-of-thigh seam doesn't seem to be in quite the same place on both sides and you can see this more in the lighter colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these tights! I'm between a small and medium but sized down so that they would feel like compression tights, plus I'm sure they'll eventually stretch out a bit. I'm 5'6" and 128 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like Riding in a Warm Cloud These tights have just the right thickness with the softest fleece lining imaginable. The pad is comfortable enough for your longest rides. I purchased one pair 2.5 months ago in grey and purchased a second pair in black last month. I will be sad when it warms up and can't wear them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great quality Very comfortable and in rain there's even a bit of beading on the fabric. They are good for winter riding. One criticism is that the bottom padding is exessive in terms of surface area (but it's comfortable)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure quality This is the first Rapha garment I have bought and I was not disappointed. I normally wear bib tights for comfort but found the soft waist with a higher back non slip band comfortable on my four hour ride also helped by the superior seat pad. We had a few showers and the water just seemed to bead and roll off keeping me dry and warm with the fleece underside. I am a UK size 12 and 5.8" height, as I do not like over stretched lycra I bought size large and they fit perfect.

I got an xs and am thinking if I should go a size up. The material is excellent and tough so i'm wondering how much it'll loosen once i break them in. in a classic bib im an S and i find they have become just a tad loose thanbefore

Asked by: KarinK
Hi, the tights will not loosen very much at all over time. It sounds as though you may need to size up.

Hi, Are the zips at the back reflective? ( they look like they may be). Also guessing pad same as Classic shorts ? ( which I love)! Thanks!

Asked by: Jamo
Hi, the back zip is not reflective but there are reflective strips on each leg. The chamois pad is the same as that used in the Classic Shorts.

My measurements fall between xs and xxs, should I size up or down?  Thanks.

Asked by: BENL
Hi, if you are in between sizes, then it to a certain extent it will come down to personal preference. The Padded Tights are in line with the fit of our Women's Classic range and have a slightly looser fit than the Souplesse range. We would recommend you choose an xxs. As always, we do have a free 90 day returns policy if needed.

I like to ask is this pant good for summer hot weather? and long journey? planning for buy a pant to tour the Southern France in July. Is this pant good for this application?

Asked by: leung160
Hi, we suggest you choose Bib Shorts for riding in Southern France in July as the temperature will most likely be too high for tights.

With regard to the long women's padded tights - is the chamois separate or is it sewn into the long pants?

Asked by: Anthea
Hi, The chamois is stitched in to the tights.
