Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality Jersey!! I wore this out on a ride for over 4 hours it initially I put I waterproof jacket over the top due to the rain and cold. But it was far too hot so I took it off. I managed the whole ride in just the Rapha Winter jersey and despite the cold and rain I was warm and comfortable thought out. The jacket is not waterproof but kind of worked like neoprene trapping a layer of water which was warmed to keep you warm the windproof panel were great. Also I had on was a base layer and the jersey which worked well. The front zip vents were great for opening when climbing to help prevent over heating, although not the easiest to open quickly with thick winter gloves. Pockets are easy to access, the large zip pocket is great for putting your gilet in and the small zip is great for phone and valuables. One bad point was the cuffs where a little tight so they couldn't overlap gloves and accessing my watch was a little bit of a struggle. But apart from that I would definitely recommend this for cold winter rides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a very good product It´s more like a jacket not a jersey, because it is uncomfortable to use whit out a first layer as a long arm base layer or a long arm jersey. Normally I use jerseys whit nothing else under it. The size is a little thigh as a jacket, be careful whit it. I am size L in Rapha jerseys. So if you will use it as a jacket take one size more it will be fitting more comfortable, if you like really really skinny tight bike wear, take your regular size. I am from South America, and it is perfect to wear on winter or los Andes Mountains. It is a very well done product for foggy mornings ride, it support a little water, absolutely recommendable, its look nice to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for many conditions This is a very versatile "jersey" although like others have said it is really more of a jacket. Looks great on and off the bike. I own an older version, the Sky training winter windproof jersey, which is one of my favorite pieces. This one is slightly tighter at the arm holes, but otherwise a similar fit. I wear this without a base layer for rides that start in the 40s and end in the 60s. The front vents are a very handy feature, especially to let some heat out as the ride warms up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent Jersey This is my first Rapha product and I think it's great. Not only does it keep me very warm it looks great. I'm 5'8 with a 40 inch chest and the Large fits me very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent jersey for the coldest conditions This was my jersey of choice between Christmas and New Year when the temperature was well below freezing. I paired it with a long sleeved merino base layer and I never once felt too cold or too warm. It's a great fit although I did find the collar close-fitting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed Well designed with plenty of storage and cooling vents. Warm too. I purchased a large. Could have fitted a medium but wanted room to add clothing under but little need. Only 10 stone in a large isn't too big at all! Only design question I have is why the high viz arm band on the left side. Designed for cycling on the other side of the road!

I wear a medium in a new pro team Aero jersey, but a small in u long sleeve club Jersey. What size should I choose for this one?

Asked by: Bram21
Hi, this jersey has quite a close fit and we recommend you order the same size as you wear in the Pro Team Aero Jersey. As always, we do have a free 90 day returns policy if needed.

There is a small, tubular, vertical "pocket" that is sewn into the left rear pocket.  I have no idea what function this serves.  Could you please offer some insight?  Thanks -

Asked by: berserk87
Hi, there is a small, vertical pocket on the right rear pocket and this is for valuables such as your keys or money.

Hi, What colour of Brevet winter tights fits the best to the navy blue winter windproof jersey ?

Asked by: fatPhilip
Hi, the Brevet Winter Tights with Pad in Dark Navy/High-Vis Pink would be a similar but not exactly matching colour to the Winter Windproof Jersey in Blue.

Is the windproofing more significant than the previous winter jersey, I find my previous jersey great but need a gillet when it's windy

Asked by: Jamesk
Hi, the windproofing is more significant than the previous winter jersey, and the fabric a slightly heavier weight.

What are the intended base layers for this to be worn with? Would the Merino Base Layer be sufficient at zero degrees?

Asked by: Scott Bolton
Hi, this jersey could be worn with any of our base layers, acting to extend the temperature range in which you could wear the jersey. It will always depend on your own temperature regulation and exertion level but a regular Long Sleeve Merino Base Layer should work well at zero degrees celsius.

What is better for 20-30F rides? Pro Team Training Jacket or this one? I'm 5'11 and 155 lb, I guess M would fit me?

Asked by: Gerdvd
Hi, for these temperatures you would be better with the Winter Windproof Jersey. The Pro Team Training Jacket is fantastic but would likely be too cold below 25F. A medium may work well but It is difficult to accurately advise size without measurements. It would be best to refer to the sizing guide.

This jersey in black/medium appears to be tighter and a bit uncomfortable than the one i had in purple/medium which was excellent in terms of fit. Is there any difference at all in size among the jerseys with different color?

Asked by: limbu29
Hi, there should be no difference in fit for different colours of the same jersey.

Does the wind proofing go down the arms to?

Asked by: cyclingranger1
Hi, the jersey has an inside layer of windproof fabric on the centre front body panels. There is no additional wind proof layer on the sleeves.
