Technical cycling shoe designed for climbers

Using materials and construction techniques that prioritise low weight and ventilation, the Climber’s Shoes offer cutting-edge performance and an understated, classic aesthetic.

The uppers are made from a mesh-backed synthetic leather, chosen for its low weight and exceptional breathability. Retaining the tensile strength required to support a foot during intense efforts, the mesh lining also allows sweat to evaporate from inside of the shoe. The leather’s perforations enable fresh air to circulate, leaving the foot feeling cool. Low-profile hook and loop fasteners are chosen for their simplicity and minimal bulk.

The EC90 SLXII sole is an evolution of that found on the Rapha GT Shoes. It keeps weight and stack height to a minimum, incorporates a replaceable heel protector, and is shaped to complement Giro’s SuperNatural Fit™ footbeds that allow riders to choose their preferred level of arch support.

NB: Please only try the shoes on a carpeted surface without cleats, as we are unable to accept returns with scratched or scuffed soles, thank you.

Please note: Gift wrap is not available on this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some of the best shoes i've ever used I bought this pair in the summer, i was a bit sceptical of the velcro straps at first but had seen the good reviews and they haven't been any bother. They're nice and light, nicely detailed, super stiff and really comfortable. The Rapha cross brand sizing chart is rubbish though, i followed the chart and got a pair that were too big and had to exchange for a pair my normal shoe size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look good, Feel good, Play good. Judging on the title you can see I was obviously super stoked about the shoes' aesthetics. Even if the shoes were the most uncomfortable things on the planet I would still give these shoes 5 stars; thats just how sharp these kicks look. The Rapha sizing chart was absolutely perfect. They weren't lying about the weight, these things are light and breathable. I've been riding with shimano rp9s and have been amazed at how much better my legs feel at the end of my rides due to a lighter and WAYYYYY more comfortable shoe. If you have some extra cash you shouldn't spend it on any other part of your kit/bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable light weight shoes These are great shoes. Nice and light weight and breathable. Love that they are synthetic so they are more environmentally sustainable... guilt free performance and style!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Buy These shoes have been impressive from the moment I opened the box all the way to actually putting them on and clipping them in for my first ride. They look superb and have a build quality to match. From the quality of materials used, to the attention to detail, this shoe is seriously fast and lightweight. The fit is exactly as expected and the blue is just as striking as the images suggest. In my opinion, this shoe is for anyone who wants a blend of top performance and a ton of style. Whether you race or just enjoy long days in the saddle these babies will keep you satisfied for thousands of miles!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, light shoes. :D These shoes replace a very old pair (non-Rapha) and, man, has technology advanced with light-weight materials. I did expect them to be light but not necessarily to improve my stamina on the bike, I didn't realize just how much dragging heavy shoes over the miles mattered. One quibble, the top strap dug into my foot a bit until 3-4 rides, then broke in, but, fine now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light and goodlooking I got these shoes about a month ago and they are light, fit perfectly and are cute! People complement me every time I wear them. But that's just secondary, I feel the difference, especially when I climb

Hi, I wear a Fizik R1 size 43. What is the equivalent size for the climbers shoe? At your brand sizing conversion chart you recon 44.5, but in a similar question you suggest same size as Fizik. I am a little confused, please help

Asked by: COSTAS
Hi, we would suggest you follow the brand conversion chart. This was made recently to try and provide more accurate advice. If the size is not correct, we do have a 90 day returns policy. Hopefully, that clears things up for you.

The shape, width same as gt shoe?

Asked by: Marcus28
Hi, both shoes are manufactured with the same last for each of the different sizes. However, the leather does have more malleability and suppleness to it.
