Friday 3rd June 2011 saw the Mobile Cycle Club 'up north' catering to an intrepid bunch of night cyclists looping through a route in the Pennines. It was an amazing night which everyone enjoyed.
Before dawn the skyline began to glow red as we were crossing over the moorland top of the Cat & Fiddle (first ascent). We also got a great sunrise as we climbed out of a still and idyllic Miller's Dale.

The Mobile Cycle club is on the road in the North of England this week. First stop last Saturday was Sheffield where Nonnas Restaurant played host to a Giro weekend, with Graham Briggs and Dean Downing from the Rapha Condor Sharp Team leading a ride out each day. Nonnas provided a slap up pasta lunch afterwards for all the riders. A good turn out for Saturday and Sunday to tackle the roads of the Peak District for some great riding.

At the end of May the Mobile Cycle Club will be back from Europe, and it’s coming to visit the North of England. From 28th May join us at the events listed below, you can also find the rides with the Rapha Rendezvous iPhone app:
Everynight, at the Rapha Cycle Club Tokyo, Giro d'Italia coverage on J-Sports Broadcasting starts at 9:45PM. Most stages finish around 12:30 to 1:00AM.
Well past the last train home.
Still every night we have a few fans during the week, and on weekends, we host 20 to 30, sometimes more. Stage14, being Saturday, we anticipated a few fans to join us for the live viewing of the Giro d'Italia. Plenty of Rapha labeled wine went out the bar, as with Birra Moretti.
From the 21st-22nd May, the Rapha Mobile Cycle Club will be visiting Berlin as part of the 2011 Skoda Velothon event. Please stop by, have a coffee and watch the Giro at the Club on the Straße des 17. Juni in Berlin from 10am-8pm on Saturday and from 9am-6pm on the Sunday. The Freiburg Collective was billed as a celebration of the bicycle and together with the likes of Campagnolo, Tune, Fixie Inc and Chris King amongst others, Rapha jumped at the invitation from Crema Cycle's Ken Bloomer to come down and join in the weekend's fun.
