RIDE: Black Hills | MILES: 120 | LOCATION: Spearfish, SD
Black Hills is a 120 mile point-to-point from Spearfish to Custer State Park, South Dakota. After Spearfish Canyon’s waterfalls and Blue Ribbon Trout stream the ride moves past Cheyenne Crossing, a famous stop on the route to Deadwood, Hanna Creek, the Moonshine Gulch Saloon, the ghost town of Mystic, the 1880 train route to Keystone just below Mount Rushmore National Monument before finally ending in Custer State Park. This route blends a mix of paved and gravel roads through both the North and South Black Hills.
