Premium protection for high-intensity rides in the wet

This jacket has been specifically created for riders who need lightweight coverage in wet and windy conditions. Cut from an extremely water-resistant fabric on the main panels, and using breathable panels in key positions, the jacket also has bonded seams for optimum protection in the wet and cold.

Made using a trio of hydrophobic, robust and breathable yarns, the jacket’s fabric is thin and lightweight. Stretch panels on the inside of the arms and on the sides of the jacket allow for greater movement in riding positions, while large zips and velcro fasteners on the cuffs make the jacket easy-to-use on the move or with gloved hands.

FEATURES

  • Wind and water-resistant for wet and windy riding
  • Lightweight, breathable fabric to prevent overheating during harder efforts
  • Bonded seams give extra protection from rain and wind
  • Zipped and velcro cuffs create a seal against the elements
  • Textured zip pullers make the jacket easy to put on or off, even with gloves
  • Two reflective rear stripes offer visibility in low light

  • 100% nylon

Body sizing
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great item I initially bought this in the small, whilst the fit was good around the bottom, I found the fit around the top to be too tight. It is supposed to be race fit but actually restricted your movement somewhat as the material is far stiffer than lycra - and I prefer a loser fitting jacket for wet conditions. So I instead ordered the large, which provided a much loser and more comfortable fit, easily able to fit a short or longer sleeve jersey under without feeling restricted. The style and cut of the jacket is excellent though, and stylish enough to wear when not riding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My wife is really pleased with this garment Bought it for her as a Christmas present. She is delighted. I had to exchange it for the next size up before she received it. Now fits her really well.Only negative comment is the elastic makes the hem ride up whilst cycling. Would be better with a self adjusting system. Hence only 4* on the rating. Might see if I can adjust it.

What is the difference between this Souplesse rain shell and the Core rain jacket? Are they both as waterproof? and would they both fold up into a back pocket of a jersey?

Asked by: NicoleE
The Souplesse Jacket is a racing fit as opposed to the Core that is more relaxed. Both of these Jackets fit into the rear pocket when folded

Hi! Can you tell me the difference between the Souplesse rain shell vs. Classic wind jacket? In both fit and water resistance? Does the Souplesse fit tighter and longer in the back?

Asked by: AlexvW
Hi, the Souplesse Rain Shell is better in water resistance and it is a it longer at the back. Whilst the Classic Wind Jackets can act as a barrier against sudden showers but it is a more lightweight jacket best suitable for cool morning starts when the weather is still chilly and a wind barrier is needed.

hi, can you tell me the differnet between SOUPLESSE RAIN SHELL VS. WOMEN'S CLASSIC RAIN JACKET thamls

Asked by: Janetw
Hi, these jackets are both designed for sustained rain but the Souplesse Rain Shell is made using Polartec Neoshell which is slightly more breathable and waterproof than the fabric used for the Women's Classic Rain Jacket.

I am a size S in the Women's Core Rain Jacket. Should I order the same size S in this Souplesse Rain Shell, or a size M?
